"Technology really has come too far."

Your friends are sitting around a table at the college cafeteria when Sophia speaks up. She turns her phone to you and Ryan, showing off the article that caused her to comment. Ryan's jaw drops. "No way that's real!" You're equally surprised, but even more curious as you read the headline: New Adult Toy Implant Announced by Nanotek. Scanning the first few lines, it seems to be some sort of nano-technology that people can get implanted into their genitals. Sounds like it's supposed to be the next big thing for adult toys.

Sophia pulls her phone back. "Seems legit, but I mean, who would spend money on this? Seems like you could just get a good vibrator for probably a fraction of the price for this thing." She returns to her scrolling as you and Ryan exchange an amused look. Sophia's always been pretty quick to dismiss new gadgets and tech. Ryan turns to her. "I don't know, it sounds like it could be kinda exciting. Who knows what that sort of technology can do?" He looks to you for support and you hesitantly reply "Yeah... it could have a lot of potential." Sophia rolls her eyes. "Whatever." "Yeah, I feel that," Sophia says. "I should probably be studying now to be honest, but I can't be bothered." Ryan nods in agreement. Having already finished your lunch, you hastily excuse yourself to go study and head to your dorm. You notice that your roommate isn't in yet, which is fine by you.
