Chapter 1: Day Zero

The school was buzzing with the usual pre-prom excitement. Students were bustling around, chattering about their outfits, their dates, and the after-parties. Amidst all this, Eliza Lawson, the class president, was on a mission. She had assigned Gina Proudmoore, a girl from a less fortunate background, to prepare the decorations for the hall. Eliza was known for her tough character and high expectations, and she was not one to tolerate delays or excuses.

An hour passed, and Eliza found no sign of Gina in the hall. Her patience wearing thin, she decided to look for her. The first place she checked was the men’s locker room, and sure enough, she found Gina there, with John, the captain of the football team. They were in a compromising position, to say the least.

Eliza's face turned a shade of red that could rival a ripe tomato. She was livid. "Gina Proudmoore, you dirty, washed-up, stupid whore!" she spat, her voice echoing in the locker room. "Can't you keep your legs together for more than a couple of hours? You'd probably fuck any homeless man if he asked you nicely!"

Gina, taken aback by the sudden intrusion and the harsh words, tried to explain. "Eliza, I... I was just..."

But Eliza didn't let her finish. "And look at you, with cum on your face! You're a born cocksucker, aren't you? Dicks are like heroin to you, aren't they? You must've fucked at least ten thousand men by now. Your cunt must be as torn and flabby as an elderly prostitute's!"

The words hung heavy in the air. Gina's eyes welled up with tears, but she was too shocked to speak. She had never been spoken to like that before. She was a free spirit, yes, but she never thought of herself as a whore. She just loved freely, without judgment or restraint.

Suddenly, a chill swept through the room, making the hairs on the back of Eliza's neck stand up. She turned around to find Malice Morrigan, a gothic girl known for her strange ways, standing in the doorway. Her hair seemed to move on its own, and a dark aura surrounded her.

"Words of venom, words of spite," Malice began, her voice cold and eerie. "In seven days, you'll feel their bite. Every insult, every slur, on your own head, they will occur."

Eliza and Gina stood frozen, their eyes wide with fear. Malice then turned her gaze to Gina, who was still sobbing quietly.

"Sweet and gentle, pure and kind," she continued. "In seven days, wisdom you'll find. From your pain, strength will grow, and a new path, you will know."

With that, Malice disappeared, leaving Eliza and Gina alone in the locker room. The two girls felt a wave of dizziness wash over them, and when they came to, they found themselves alone, with a strange sense of foreboding hanging in the air.

Eliza, her anger subsided, felt a strange sense of apathy. She couldn't quite remember what had just happened, but she knew she had other duties to attend to. As she walked away, she couldn't shake off the feeling that something was about to change, and not for the better.

As for Gina, she was left alone in the locker room, her heart heavy with hurt and confusion. She wiped her tears and tried to compose herself. She had a job to do, after all. But as she went about her task, she couldn't help but feel a strange sense ofdread. The words of Malice echoed in her mind, and she couldn't shake off the feeling that her life was about to take a drastic turn.

As the day wore on, Eliza found herself losing track of time. She was busy with her duties as class president, but her mind kept wandering back to the incident in the locker room. She couldn't remember the details, but she felt a strange sense of guilt and unease. By the time she got home, she was exhausted and fell into a deep sleep.

Gina, on the other hand, spent the rest of the day in a daze. She tried to focus on her task, but her mind kept replaying the harsh words Eliza had hurled at her. She felt a deep sense of hurt and betrayal. She had always admired Eliza, and to hear such cruel words from her was a harsh blow. As the day came to an end, Gina found herself feeling more alone than ever. She went to bed with a heavy heart, hoping that the next day would bring some respite.

But as they both drifted off to sleep, little did they know that their lives were about to change in ways they could never have imagined. The words of Malice's curse hung in the air, a chilling promise of the trials to come.

What will the morning be like?
