Cobweb Palace

It’s the middle of a heatwave in central Oregon. Theres a high of 90 and the restaurants are closing. A bit maddening really. Watson Lowood (our main character for this story) Is a few weeks into his senior year of high school at Western Ferguson High. Western for short.

Watson has 2 sisters, Cary and Camille, also seniors. Cary’s features are all dark, including her temperament. Thick curly black hair down to her shoulders, and thick thighs—but not fat, nicely curvy. Piercing brown eyes that look through you when you stare at her. Her clothes often match this whole persona. Although she’s not goth or emo. More bohemian but painted black and white. Camille received her father’s genes; wispy, almost grey, blonde hair. Camille is far thinner than her sister. One would suspect she may have an eating disorder, but that would be false. She eats like a pig and has no table manners. Camille tells you what she thinks and gives no fucks.

Watsons mother, Caroline (but will be known as mom) is what you would expect a mom of three to look like at 50. Wide hips, greying brown hair, earthly smile and voice, a mom of moms.

Watsons dad, Jack Lowood, is a military man and is away for 9 months at a time. He left a few weeks ago. His mom is used to it after all these years, but the 3 kids grew up normally taking care of each other.

The 3 kids share a car and drive to and from school with each other. As you can imagine this is a great source of pain for all of them.

The kids are just leaving the house now after breakfast—Caroline doesn’t watch them leave, she’s probably anxiously rummaging for her dildo in the back of her drawer by now.
