Chapter 1 by ChickMate ChickMate

The devil lord’s name was Marus, and he was an incubus. Not just any incubus, but a very powerful incubus. For ten years he had made war with the kingdom of Arlain, for ten years his forces had battered and beaten at the boarders of that fair land. They had met with some success, it had to be said, many towns, villages and even a few cities had fallen under their nightmarish sway. But the center parts of the kingdom, the brightest jewel of Arlain, it’s capital city and it’s place, had evaded him.

The reason why was currently being dragged into his throne room by her long, golden hair. Her name was Mira, and she was champion of Arlain. Her figure was fine and voluptuous, though not so curvy that it gave her any problems in combat. Her eyes were a fierce, vibrant blue and her skin was pail alabaster. She was the niece of the King himself, and a paladin of unsurpassed conviction. Proud and beautiful, even at the age of 20, it was said she was still chaste, and she had been a thorn in Marus’s side for far, far too long.
But at last she had been caught, at last she was in his clawed hands, deep within a fortress in his territory.

The incubus grinned and rose from his onyx throne. He stalked towards her, grinning wickedly. As an incubus he could change his shape at will, and at present he looked like a handsome, slender man with dark hair, a goatee and wicked black eyes.
She was half slumped in the arms of his guards, so he grabbed her chin by one hand and her head up to face him.

‘It seems I have you, at last, Mira.’ He cooed, grinning nastily.

‘If you intend to kill me, get it over with.’ The proud woman spat back. ‘Or if you intend to me, feel free. I shall give away nothing.’

Marus only grinned, "Kill? Oh no. ? Perhaps for a certain… definition of the word, perhaps. I intend to make you mine, Mira. By the time I am through with you, you shall stand, or rather kneel, by my side. " He was basking in her fear. Such fate was more terrifying for her than . "You will become a to my every whim, so broken that it will, in turn, shatter the hearts of those that see you as such, and knew you once as you were. That shall be my greatest victory."

The woman snarled and tried to tug free of the guard’s grip but to no avail. Marus just laughed, pleased at her spunk. He hoped she would not loose that too soon.

"Chain her up!" he commanded, grinning. "Chain her up, and let the game begin!"
