You've been bullied all through high school. You've never been particularly sporty, and your nervousness in social situations made you a very easy target. Pretty much every one in the year was happy to joke about you to their friends, and the jocks, lead by the biggest boy in the year, Steve, would get physical pretty regularly. It was usually just pushing you around, or knocking books or food out of your hands. Sometimes they would punch you in the stomach, or smack you in the nuts. No one ever spoke up, with most onlookers laughing along with them. You were worried that you'd be even more ostracized if you'd dobbed on them to a parent or teacher, so you'd just put up worth it. You thought they would have gotten sick of messing with you eventually, but they seemed to get endless glee from messing with you.

Katy was a shy girl. She always wore baggy, unfashionable clothes and generally kept to herself. She seemed to hide behind her large glasses, and most people would probably have a difficult time describing what her face looked like without them. At the beginning of your senior year you ended up becoming friends with her after you'd ended up next to her on the bus trip to a band competition. She played clarinet, on the opposite side of the practice room from where you were in the brass section, playing trombone. After chatting to her for the whole bus ride, you'd realised you had a lot in common. You also noticed that she was actually quite pretty behind her glasses. After making her laugh at a dumb joke, you felt yourself begin falling for her.

You began chatting to her after class, and soon you were sitting with her at lunch. It was several more months before you were officially started dating, and another month after that before Katy let you hold her hand. Your nervousness and her strict upbringing made it seem like it would be a long time before you moved on to kissing or anything else.

You'd gotten used to lunches spent away from your bullies, spending time with Katy in her usual spot in the library, yet on the first warm day in a while Katy managed to convince you to eat lunch outside. You lead the way to an out if the way corner of the school, hoping to avoid a run in with Steve and his crew. Unfortunately it was not meant to be, and you'd only just gotten your lunch out when you heard familiar voices coming around the corner of the building, headed towards you. You didn't have time to react before they almost tripped over you as they came around the corner.

"Oh, look who we have here!" Steve said, smirking, "Long time no see big fella." He took another step, kicking out with his foot and sending your lunch spilling across the ground. "Whoops, sorry, I guess that's what happens when you cower around corners." The rest of his gang burst into laughter at that.

Just then they seemed to notice that Katy was there as well.

"Someone else joined the loser club as well then?" Steve said to you, pointing at Katy.

Your blood boiling you jumped up ready to defend her. "Hey n-now, K-K-Katy..."

"Hahaha, the spastic can't even get out her fucking name!" Steve roared with laughter, "Here, let me help you get the rest of that brilliant speech out!" With that he sunk his fist into your stomach. You doubled over, desperately trying to suck air into your lungs. Katy jumped up and grabbed you hand protectively.

"Oh don't worry about him, he's used to this. Now let's see who exactly he's managed to trick into thinking he's worth hanging out with," Steve said, casually reaching out towards Katy. She stood rigid with shock as he confidently grabbed her breast.

"Hey this bitch has some decent knockers!" he exclaimed. He gave her breast a couple more squeezes as she stood there spluttering. "If you didn't wear such daggy clothes you might even be fuckable." With that he stepped back and began to walk off, chuckling, his groupies in tow. "See you later losers!"

Katy stood there there in shock for several more moments before coming back to herself and turning quickly to you. "Oh my gosh, are you ok?"

You sucked in a small breath. "Yeah, wasn't even that bad," you said shakily, not wanting to seem weak.

"You really should tell someone about-"

"No!" you shout a little too urgently, "I mean, it's not like I can't handle it."

"Oh ok" she says, looking at you uncertainly.

You eat what's left of your lunch and then spent the rest of lunch sitting and talking, Katy being much more quiet than she usually was. The bell rings and you say goodbye, before heading off to your last classes for the day. You see her just long enough to say goodbye and give her hand a squeeze before running to catch your bus.

That night in bed you lie awake thinking about how Steve had beaten you to touching Katy's breasts, before you'd even kissed her. You wished you were bigger and stronger so you could stand up for yourself.

The next morning you lie in bed after your alarm thinking if it was even worth going to school.
