The lost tribes(revised)

Chapter 1 by augy6666 augy6666

You are a young, ambitious archeology student from a local college in your second year. Very few undergraduate students participate in archeological digs, so when your professor offered a chance to participate in the dig. You instantly jumped at the opportunity, and even become more intrigued when you were told the reason for the dig. You were trying to prove a link between Incan Empire and legend of the Amazon Woman.

After a couple of month of no luck, one of your class mates discovers some Incan pottery deep in the Amazon Jungle. But it is hardly enough proof to prove anything, so you are surprised when you find hieroglyphics on a cave about a long journey between three tribes to a new world. Some of the story is faded, but you do make out men and danger.

You grab your phone immediately from your backpack and call your professor, but you can only hear static coming from the other end. Your curiosity consumes you, so you venture deeper into the cave. The cave seems to run for miles and miles, but you grab your trusty flashlight to guide you thru the darkness. After traveling for what seemed hours, you finally see a dim light illuminating ahead. You foolishly increase your pace as you get closer to the light and realize it is the other side of the cave.

As you exit the cave, you spot a wonderland of vegetarian and a huge golden Incan pyramid in the far distance protected by dense forest with only a tiny passageway made of red bricks. You decide to investigate the pyramid and travel toward the pyramid. Along the trip, you see ruins of deserted towns and farms. You finally reach destination and sees a series of Greeks and Egyptian statues of female goddesses and bricks below are now made of gold. As you pass the last statue made of solid gold, you see an open entrance into the pyramid. You carelessly trip onto a loose brick that sends you into the pyramid. It triggers a stone door blocking the entrance coming from the ground.

You grab your flashlight, but it is no longer working. You get up and brush yourself off. You can see a dim light in the distance, so you cautiously move toward the light. You walk into the room and suddenly see an illusion of a vertical body of water which is actually an event horizon.

You find yourself walking toward the event horizon and suddenly realize it is pulling you toward it. You futile resist but the more you struggle; it seems to pull you closer and closer to the doorway to the vortex. You are finally pushed through the doorway that sends a static charge throughout your body and knocking you .

You finally wake up with a blurred vision. You can hear sounds of waves hitting a beach and sand. You instantly realize that you are on a beach. But you have a million questions racing thru your mind. You don’t even know how long you were knocked out, but you feel your head resting against a piece of stone. You finally come to the conclusion that it must have been some kind of vortex that transported you somewhere.

As your eyes finally focus and you see a sculpture of the Greek, Egyptian, Mayan and Incan goddesses sitting along a table. On the bottom of the statue is an inscription that says, "The lost tribe of Eastern mothers of the Amazon". You look up and see three moons in the sky and realize that you are no longer on planet Earth. You hear a faint noise that startles you.

Has the civilization advanced?
