A Tale of Two Dragons

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, and just like the name suggests it's a challenge to all aspiring writers to write within the span of a single month, specifically the month of November, an entire novel of 50 000 words or more.

It is not an easy undertaking. You have to writer copious amounts every day, which requires discipline and dedication. Nonetheless, I have decided to attempt this challenge this year, and I encourage any writer who reads this to try it out as well.
I've tried it out once before, quite a long time ago. Back then I had two jobs, but still managed to succeed with the challenge. Yes, I surprised myself there, but it just goes to show that it is possible to do it, even if you think you don't have time.

What I wish to clarify is that this is not a challenge to write a novel to end all novels. If what you want is, by the end of the month, to have an excellent story ripe for publication that will blow everyone's socks off, then I will concede that maybe this isn't the challenge for you if you are short on time.
But if you are willing to test your discipline as a writer and attempt to write something every day, proceeding like that until the very end of the month, then I will gladly affirm that it is indeed possible.
Not easy, but possible.
You can always spiff it up afterwards.

I will be presenting my progress here on CHYOA. Maybe not the best idea in the world, since what will appear here will be written in a haste directly from the deepest recesses of my imagination, with the very real possibility that in the end I'll fall flat on my face. But I still wanted to commit myself and show my progress as I write.
