"Wow." Xander was amazed at not only his own heroics, but also the result. Seeing Xander in the hospital and scarred, plus hearing about how close Jenny had come to dying had been enough to set Buffy off. Angelus had been dust within the week, with Spike and Dru disappearing.
Buffy had kind of gone through a period of intense mood swings after that. Sometimes grieving hard, and sometimes intensely sorry she was grieving. But she'd started getting better over the summer.
Shit, the summer. Buffy had saved people in LA....

Hey, he'd now had an adventure in LA. Dingos Ate My Baby had gotten several gigs at small venues in LA, Willow had gone with Oz on a few, and she'd stumbled onto the homeless situation, come home and gotten Buffy and Xander(Cordy still went on vacation)and they'd all teamed up to make the save, with Buffy the only one who'd briefly traveled to the other dimension.
Shit, Faith had shown up, still as a Slayer. Which he supposed was good for her and he didn't want anything to happen to her, but that meant Kendra was dead and no one seemed to know how
