A thousand possibilities ran through Tom's mind - making her his sister, a neighbor's wife, even a prostitute - but he quickly chose one. Touching the coin, he silently said "I wish Sarah was my new live-in maid who is desperately grateful for this job."

This time there was no change in Sarah's appearance or clothing. Her body language was a little less relaxed however, and she didn't stand quite so close to him. She spoke in a soft voice, "Thanks Mr. Saunders. It's really kind of you to take me out on my first day off. And you've been so nice to me this week." She licked her cone again and blushed when she noticed Tom's reaction.

"It's nothing," Tom replied, shifting his gaze to meet her eyes. "And please, call me Tom - it's your day off and Mr. Saunders is too formal."

She looked down at her feet. "No, you're so nice. It was really generous of you to give me this chance. I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't taken me in."

Tom gently took her hand. "Sarah, it's fine, I'm glad I'm able to help." He felt a thrill at the strangeness of the whole situation. This was Sarah and yet a completely different at the same time! He couldn't hardly wait to try further wishes, but he wanted to explore this one a bit more before changing her again.
