Confused as to what Richard was doing, Jess stayed still as Richard touched his ring.

With the familiar energy flowing out from within him, time once again stood still. Richard, looking up from the ring saw Jess with a look of genuine curiosity. The way it made her brows scrunch, Richard to find absolutely adorable. He looked down at the ring as it ever so slowly started fading, using up energy. Deciding not to waste the energy this time, he got off of Jess and out of the bed. Grabbing his clothes, he put his shirt on and pulled up his pants. Leaning against the wall near the door, he touched the ring again.

The energy that seemed to be surrounding him, faded back into his body. Looking at his ring, it was still glowing fairly bright. 'Interesting, freezing time must not take as much energy' Richard thought to himself. Once the green glow around him was gone, he heard the ambient sounds of the world resuming around him.

"What the! How did? Wait... what?!", Jess said, completely stunned.

"I froze time, moved, and unfroze time. Quite simple", Richard said.

"Simple! Richard there's no way you just did that! That's..."

"Magic? Yeah. I've been experimenting with it, trying to find out what I can do with it."

"That's amazing, can I help?"

"Sure, what did you have in mind?"
