a minor wish to keep Sarah interested

Tom debated his options. He could wish her to fall in love with him. But a large part of what made her so exciting was her self-absorption. She put her own desires and needs above anyone else without a second thought. It was her shallowness, vanity and general slutiness that distinguished her from 'his' Sarah. He suspected changing her personality would remove much of the thrill this gave him.

Maybe he could just build on her existing desires? Her slutiness and thrill-seeking? He decided to try. "I wish Sarah got so turned on by cheating on her husband with his brother that she can't give it up." He figured that should keep her from getting bored with him.

Unfortunately he and Sarah couldn't rendezvous the next couple days. He was too busy at work and Sarah couldn't manage to slip away from Jonathan during the evenings. So Tom was surprised to get a call from his brother on Friday. "Hey Tom, Sarah's been wanting to try that fondue place so we're taking mom & dad there tonight. Want to join us?"

"Sure, that would be great," Tom answered. In his old life, it was usually Tom and Sarah who would occasionally coordinate such an outing. It felt a little strange to be the 'odd man out' for a change.

"Cool bro, meet there at 7. Chow!" Jon hung up.

Tom shook his head. His brother was in his mid-thirties but still tried to act like he was at least 10 years younger. He didn't dwell on his kid brother long. 0His thoughts quickly went to Sarah - after 2 days he couldn't wait to see her, even if it had to be with his family.
