You run into Summer

You're caught staring at Amy walking away when the person behind you says "Um, you can move up now."

Walking forward, handing your meal card to the lady at the cash register, and then turning around, you see that the person behind you was Summer, one of the girls you were daydreaming about at the beginning of this.

"Oh, I'm sorry, Summer", you apologize. "I got my head lost in the clouds".

"You seem to do that a lot", she says.

You're not sure whether to take that as a friendly jab or an insult, so you settle on a half-shrug and a response of "It's not just me, it happens a lot to guys my age too".

Another pop-up appeared, reading You have a new entry in the Affection Multiplier: Summer Wallace

While you were anxious to read that, you weren't about to end the conversation just so you could look at your phone.

The lady handed you back your meal card and Summer stepped forward, saying "Maybe if you combined all of the guys together in your section, you could muster up enough intelligence to learn how to march in time". You were sure this was a friendly jab, or at least a piece of helpful advice, since she was flashing you a smile as she said it.

You respond with "I'll try that next time. I'm not sure if some of them would be willing to give up their negative brain cell counts, though".

She rolls her eyes at that, and says "Well, you don't have to include them. Maybe without them you all could learn how to march in time and play your instruments."

Feigning that you were offended, you say "Well, it was nice talking to you, Summer. I'd love to stay and chat more, but I need to come up with a way to combine several people's intelligence together. And I'd really like to get some food".

Summer says "Goodbye" as you walk off towards the sandwiches.
