You Get the Gas (Tour Guide)

"The votes are in... ladies and gentlemen... let's see if the contestant escapes quickly... as we fill the chamber with gas!"

You need to pick up the pace. You hear the telltale hissing sound as gas is pumped into the room. A vaguely cherry-smelling cloud begins to fill the caver as you feel blindly around the the dark.

Each passing moment, you breathe in more and more, coughing, sputtering, and tasting cherry.

It worsens and worsens until you're crawling on your hands and knees, **** on the stuff.

The fix was in... with no way to find an exit, and no means of breathing clean air, you slowly fade into a gas-induced sleep...

Three reptilian aliens, a couple and their son, make their way through the studio lot. You see them and they look confused, so you roll over to them.

"EXCUSE ME! YOU APPEAR TO BE LOST. MAY I ASSIST YOU?"

The cheery, youthful voice spits out from the vox-gag in your mouth as the alien family look you over curiously, taking in the sight of you.

You are clad in an adorable, grayish minidress depicting the Interstellar TV Studio logo over your chest. Your arms are in long sleeves which terminate in comically oversized gloves, something akin to what Mickey Mouse might wear. Within them, are a series of whirring mechanical braces that strap along your real fingers, ensuring you point and gesture guests appropriately to their desired destinations. Your legs are bare, and cross at the ankles, terminating into the round, black ball into which your feet are tucked. You effectively stand with only one leg, the rolling ball that covers your ankles and feet stabilizing you and allowing you to roll around the park, although you have little say in what direction it takes you. Your knees are free to allow you to politely curtsy at guests in appreciation of their patronage. Your hair is done up into cute pigtails, and has been dyed a bright, unnatural orange. It is held in place by a variety of alien hair products, giving it a fake, almost plastic shine. The orange of your hair and gray of your attire mirroring the company colours for the studio who produces 'The Grand Maze,' a show on which you were once a contestant!

Resting over your face is a plasticy, human-like mask. It obscures your true features, blinking its wide, animatronic eyes at the park's patrons as "you" speak to them, the vox-gag in your mouth silencing your protests, and spitting out whatever information, trivia, or minutia the countless studio guests ask for.

You are essentially a walking, talking billboard for the very show that trapped you here for the rest of your life.

"Yeah we're looking for the place where they film 'Grand Maze?' We're taking the kid to watch an episode live!"

"OH. WHAT FUN! I USED TO BE A CONTESTANT ON THAT SHOW. IT WAS SUPER FUN! I HOPE TODAY'S GUEST GETS TO BE A PARK TOUR GUIDE LIKE ME... IT'S THE BESTEST! TAKE A LEFT AT THE CORNER AHEAD, AND WALK STRAIGHT UNTIL YOU SEE THE GREEN ROOF. IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN ASSIST YOU WITH TODAY?"

"No, that's fine. You were on the show? That's so cool! Guess it worked out for you, huh?"

"OH YOU BETCHA! IT WAS SO FUN!"

"Alright, well we'll head that way then. Thank you Miss!"

"YOU'RE WELCOME, CHERISHED GUESTS! REMEMBER TO HAVE A SUPER SPLENDORIFIC DAY HERE AT INTERSTELLAR TV PARK!!"

You politely curtsy to your guests as they wave goodbye and head off to catch the show.
