You're not leaving empty-handed

Leaving here naked and defenseless doesn't seem like a good plan. With that in mind, you cast about for someone holding your equipment, but can only find a guard with your gloves. "They're something," you think to yourself. With time running out, you do the only thing you can: Charge! You holler like a madwoman, covering the distance between yourself and the guard in a flash. He turns toward you, a look of shock on his face. That look changes to panic, as he drops your gloves, and draws his sword. Before he can swing it, you're inside his arc, and you smash your elbow into his face as you cannonball into him.

He drops to the ground, his head hitting the cobblestones with a solid crack. You don't bother stopping to see if he gets up. You snatch your gloves up off the ground, then turn at a shouted "Stop her!" That call finally brings the fistfight between the guards to a halt.

"Doesn't matter," you think to yourself, as the ax-toting guard comes jogging your way, closing the distance quickly.

You plant your bare foot, and launch yourself at the guard. He slows to a halt, bringing the ax up in front of him in a fighting stance. Seeing this, you feint low, as if you were trying to tackle him. He responds favorably, lowering the ax to prevent you from taking his knees out, which is exactly what you wanted him to do. Right before you run into his reach, you leap with all your speed and strength, sailing high above the guard, well beyond his reach. The arc impresses everyone present, yourself included, and you realize you could have used a similar move to simply escape over the wall to begin with.

You land gracefully, beyond the ring of guards, and sprint for the nearest corner. As you round it, you hear a guard yelling, "Stop her! Grab your crossbows...." The rest trails off into the night as you round the corner and sprint away, into the night.
