Chapter 182 by Vain Vain

So, what's her suggestion? And does anyone disagree...?

Yet another game of cards, for some unreasonable reason

"You can't seriously be suggesting another game of poker...?" Zachary was the first one to start objecting, with a sigh of disbelief escaping his lips, while Heather had already revealed the deck of cards that she'd been carrying around.

"Oh, why not...?" She flashed him one of those mischievous little grins in return, and bent down slightly to tease him with a perfect view down her delicate cleavage. The busty cheerleader captain still hadn't changed out of her skimpy little bikini, but was wearing an open white blouse on top of it, and having a see-through jade green sarong tied up around her curvaceous hips. "I'm sure it'll be a lot of fun, down here by the water!"

"Well, we don't have to play about favors or clothes though, if you're really not up for it..." She pouted then, in act of disappointment, as she could see the **** remaining on his face.

"So, what about then?" Zack asked her suspiciously, while noticing that it seemed like it was only himself having any serious objections, and decided to try and meet her halfway at least. He really wasn't up for any more of her silly games, but in a way he couldn't deny that he'd enjoyed the last one a little more than he should.

"How about... roommates...?" The girl managed to catch him off guard with her lewd suggestion - even as he'd come to expect something like it from her mouth -, and especially as she made it sound like the most natural thing in the world, of all things she could ever come up with.

"You can't be serious...?" He tried to scoff at the absurd idea, though he still couldn't help from feeling a certain stiffness start growing inside of his pants, and a single look around the group made him aware that there still wasn't anyone else standing up to the suggestion. Heck, even Vicky seemed a little bit interested, and he could fail to notice the quick smile she flashed in his direction when she caught him looking at her.

"What's the rules then?" Asked Chloe, while Zachary eventually stepped back a bit, and it was fairly obvious she supported the brunette's way of thinking - though she gave him a quick smile of apology, for appearing so eager to switch him out for another over night.

"I'm still thinking about that..." The other girl admitted, and pondered for a brief moment before continuing. "We could just play for quick wins I guess? The first one to a set amount of wins get the lowest scoring of the opposite sex, and then we continue the same way with the second and third...?"

"Why only the opposite sex...?" Ashley voiced her concerns, and it was all too obvious which girl she'd like to be teamed up with. "And what about the one left out? We're four girls you know, and only three guys...!"

"I just wanted to keep it interesting for everyone..." Heather grinned back at the sweet blonde, though she actually didn't mind herself getting paired together with another of the girls. "But as for the last girl, I guess we could just let the winner have the lowest scoring of the girls as the extra, before determining the rest of the outcomes?"

"We could as well draw sticks then...?" Said Zack, who was still opposing to the entire idea, but was starting to feel like it was pointless to keep objecting for real.

"That would be far too easy though!" Their 'ring-leader' was quick to point out to him, with that mischievous grin having returned to her lips again. "And we'd lose out on the tactical possibilities as well!"

While Zachary couldn't quite see the tactics behind a game like that at first, he eventually came to realize that she was actually quite right in what she was saying. There was a certain level of strategy that could be used after all, if one had only a slight idea of how the others would be playing, and he certainly couldn't deny that the idea of this 'jackpot' was highly compelling to him.

The game they would be playing wasn't traditional poker however, or even the much simplified variant they'd been going with so far, but instead they voted for a similarly easy version of Texas hold'em for variety. Again they wouldn't be making any bets, and the only difference from before was the fact they only had three cards on hand, and the last two being open for everyone - which again made him think they could as well have been drawing sticks instead, like they'd been doing on the first day they arrived at the cabin.

It seemed like everyone else was up for the game though, and so he took his place among them in the growing circle on the ground, while somehow ending up between Chloe and Heather...

What's his plan then? And what about the others...?
