The most obvious solutions

Given his sceptical view on the game in the first place, Zachary couldn't really come up with any other strategy than to try his very best and win the whole thing. With some major luck he just might end up in the same room as Victoria, though he had to admit he was more concerned about her sharing a room with another of the guys, than having a specific plan for what they might be doing in there together. Heather had only mentioned a change of roommates after all - with only a vague implication that it meant something more than just that -, and for his part he'd be more than happy with just having a chance to sort things out with the green-eyed beauty...

Sitting right next to him, his best friend and current roommate was putting a little more serious thought into the game though. If things turned out like last time they were playing together, Chloe figured that herself, Gavin and Zack would likely be the highest ranking - meaning that she would be teaming up with the lowest scoring of the guys. And in that specific scenario, this guy would of course be Brandon, which she certainly had reasons to look forwards to. She only had one thing to worry about then, as she knew that Heather hadn't actually been playing to her best during the last game, and it was fully possible that the girl managed to snatch that 'jackpot' from right under her nose...

Gavin wasn't all that keen on playing the game either, though he hadn't had the courage to object when Heather suggested the rules. Just like Zack he was a little bit hurt about his current roommate wanting to suddenly change him out for another, and especially as he thought that he was finally getting somewhere with the lustful brunette. He'd already given in to her wish for a threesome after all, even as he'd wanted her all to himself, and eventually accepted that their relationship would never be an easy one. The smile she flashed him while dealing the cards gave him a little more hope however, and made him wonder if all of this was merely some kind of test for him. But did she really want him to try his best, or to give her the lead so that she would be winning him over, instead of the other way around...? Given that she seemed to like him for his smarts though, he figured that he'd simply have play to the former...

Meanwhile, Ashley was finally starting to realize the complications of playing this game. At one hand she really wasn't sure if she was ready to give up on her place in bed with Brandon just yet - even if they'd both been giving a whole lot of freedom to one another over those last couple of days -, and on the other there was only a few which she'd be easily willing to switch him for. One of those was Victoria of course - as she could barely think of anything else but the sweet blonde who was sitting right next to her -, though she'd finally accepted that Zachary too had stolen his way to a very special place in her heart. Tactics wasn't really her thing however, though she remembered quite well how they ended up in the last game they played, and she was already pretty much set for that jackpot. Not likely as the winner of it, of course, but hopefully with herself and Vicky ending up together in the deal.

In fact, her best friend was already having the same kind of thoughts as well, although they were based on the uneasiness of being left alone with either of the guys, rather than of risking to not share a room with Ashley specifically. She wasn't quite as drunk today as the last time they played though, and she felt like the game couldn't be all that difficult to master after all, but still she doubted that she'd have any serious chance at winning the whole thing. Thus she reasoned just like the other blonde right next to her, though she felt a little pang of anxiety - surprisingly mixed with an almost equal amount of excitement -, as she wondered which one of the guys would be lucky enough to share their room over night...

Brandon at the other hand didn't really have any strategy at all, as he was already fully aware that this kind of games weren't really his thing. He'd been on the losing end the last time - and he had no doubts that both Gavin and Zack would be able to beat him to it this time as well -, though he also wasn't all that worried for which one of the girls he ended up with over night. With some luck it would be Chloe, who he'd started to get more and more into during the last few days, though he really wouldn't mind either Heather or Ashley either - with the latter giving a good chance for him to make up for what he'd been up to with the others lately. Sadly, he never quite realized that there was actually a chance for him to end up in the 'jackpot'-team, or he just might have been trying to play to his worst instead - even if his pride as a sportsman would likely have forbidden him anyways...

Last of them all, the 'ring-leader' herself was actually the most uncertain of how to play this game to gain the very most out of it. At the one hand, Heather would just love to somehow mess it up for the others - thus causing the most unlikely pairings, and watch how it all turned out -, but at the other she actually had a couple of ideas that would be a lot more beneficial to herself. If she played to her best or worst she just might end up in another threesome after all, which could always be interesting, though she'd currently much rather prefer one with two males in that case. Perhaps it was a mistake of her to suggest only opposite sexes in each room after all? In the end she decided to just keep an eye on where the game was headed, just like the last time they'd been playing, and try to steer it in the most promising direction...
