Chapter 2 by Donny P Donny P

Now, who will receive the app?

Will, a groom with secrets

We clinked our wine glasses together as the sun set over the gorgeous beach of the resort. We leaned against the railing of the deck and stared into each others' eyes.

"I love your dimples," said Nicole.

"I love your laugh," I lied. Her laugh was an annoying chirp.

She blushed, then leaned in for a kiss. This I didn't mind. Nicole was hot as hell, and running my hands through her thick, black hair made me want to yank her head back and throw her on the ground so I could mount her shapely body. Instead I just said, "You know, we don't have to wait."

She laughed, which, as I said, sounded like a morning bird trying to piss off a whole neighborhood. "No, dirty boy! One more week and we'll be man and wife! We can do all the naughty stuff then."

She was right. I didn't have to rush. After the wedding I'd have access to her pussy. Plus her trust fund. "You're the dirty one! I was just saying we don't have to wait for dinner!"

She laughed again. As much as I wanted to fuck her tight body, I wanted to get this over with so I could get away from that dumb laugh even more.

Nicole's phone beeped, and she grabbed it up off the table. "Ooo! Simone's plane just landed at the airstrip! I've got to go meet her. Want to come with me?"

"You go ahead. I've got some business calls to make."

She pouted. "Business? Will, it's our wedding!"

I caressed her neck in the way that always relaxed her. "It's a destination wedding that takes a whole week. I can't ignore all my partners for that long! Don't worry, I'll be done long before you get back."

She brightened up. "Okay! Love you!" She leaned in and gave me a kiss on the cheek before running off.

I looked around to make sure I was alone on the deck of the resort before I pulled out the little phone that Nicole didn't know about and started my call. "Andre! Hey, it's Frank. I just wanted to check in with you about that apartment complex. Did you get those papers I sent you?"

He'd gotten them, and he couldn't believe how good the deal for the land was. After five minutes, he'd agreed to sign, so I hung up and dialed the next number. "Claire? Hi, this is Todd! Could you hand me off to Irene? Oh, really? I understand, I don't want to interrupt her photo shoot. Could you leave her a message? Just tell her that I'm sorry I had to fly to Germany for my business trip, but I miss her terribly."

One more call to make, but this one was different. "Hey Vlad, it's Will. Yes, things are going well, although slower than I'd like. Her parents are here and I can't risk finding some fun with another woman because the island is so small someone will talk. No, I haven't signed the prenup yet, but I don't think I'll be able to get out of it. I'll still get a decent payday, but it will be more of a smash and grab than I'd like, although the "smash" will be a lot more enjoyable than usual! No, I get it, using my real name was risky, but this is the kind of mark that needs a convincing background check, and it's the kind of payday that makes burning my real identity worth it. Don't worry, you'll get your cut. Alright buddy, we'll talk later."

I ended the call. Obviously Vlad would get his cut. We both knew that psychopath would cut off my feet if I didn't give him his half of the money.

As I stared blankly at my burner phone, deep in thought about the horrible things Vlad could do to me, I noticed something. There was an app that I didn't recognize. It had an icon with a stylized "SG". I opened it up.

By the time I'd read through the instructions, I knew that it was called the Sophistry Generator and it was complete bullshit. The guy I got this phone from was pretty shady, so I'd better not trust anything he downloaded. As if I needed something to help me sell my lies, I'd been spinning professional grade bullshit since I was fifteen!

I heard footsteps and put my burner phone away. The private airstrip was only a few minutes away from the resort, so that was probably Nicole. Yep, Nicole and Simone walked in a moment later.

Simone was, just like Nicole, as insanely hot as she was insanely rich. This was not a coincidence. Rich families follow a certain pattern, and Simone was a great example of it.

Simone's grandfather: Rich, Japanese businessman who married a super hot Japanese stewardess.

Simone's father: Rich, Japanese-American businessman who married a super hot Cambodian model.

Simone: Rich, entitled, and hot as hell. Her breasts were like her portfolio, extremely big and always bouncing up.

Nicole and all her friends were the same way. Inherited wealth merging with inherited beauty to make the perfect stuck-up hot girl heiresses. Unfortunately, Simone was the one that I probably did need a little help with, since she'd never warmed up to me.

Nicole held Simone's hand and led her to me. "Our first guest has arrived! Besides my parents, of course."

"Simone!" I said as if we were old friends. "It's great to have you here."

"Yeah, sure," said Simone. She leaned forward and gave me an air-kiss on the cheek, but never made eye contact.

"I'll get us some drinks!" said Nicole. She ran to the bar.

Simone pulled out her phone and tapped away at it. Without looking at me, she said, "So, I suppose you've been enjoying looking at all the hot native girls in their skimpy outfits?"

"What?! No!" Yes, I absolutely had been. "Come on, Simone, I only have eyes for Nicole. I wouldn't be marrying her if I wanted any other woman. That's what marriage means!"

She looked up from her phone as if she was about to call me out on my obvious lie, but then she stopped. Her mouth hung open just a bit and her eyes stared ahead blankly.

-10 BS. 90 remaining.

Wait, what the fuck was that? It wasn't some random thought, I just... felt numbers going down in my head.

"Yeah, that's true," said Simone, returning her gaze to her phone.

I was in shock. Simone had been immune to my charm since I'd met her. She'd been the biggest obstacle to getting together with Nicole. Yet, she believed my corny line?

Simone came back and the two of them started chatting as if I wasn't even there. I let them catch up as I wondered whether or not the app could actually be real.

What did he do to figure this out?
