What choice do you have?

"I... don't really have a choice, do I?"

"There's always a choice, my dear," Drake says. "But, I do applaud your commitment to the act." He turns to the audience and claps his hands, and the sound is louder than it should have been. "Now, we are closing in on having a suitable assistant, but we may need to do some work yet..."

"The face!" one particularly loud member of the audience cried.

"Ahh, yes. Of course," Drake says, slapping his forehead. "Let's correct that, shall we?" He removes his hat and reaches inside, pulling out something white. He holds it up for the audience to see first, then for you. It's a mask with feminine features. A narrow face, small nose, and make-up like markings. Pink lips, black outlines around the eyes like eye liner and dark eye shadow.

He approaches and holds out the mask for you. "Please, wear this for a moment."

You reach up with a shaking hand and take the mask. You look into his eyes, trying to see... something. All you see is amusement. With a sigh, you lift the mask to your face and he taps it with his wand. When he does, you feel a tingle shoot through your face.

"You can lower that now, my dear."

You do as Drake instructed, your eyes on the mirror as you do. What you see is the same body, but a drastically different face. No stubble at all. Her complexion is smooth. She has a small nose, large eyes, and perfectly kissable lips. The make-up seems to have transferred from the mask to your face as well.

The woman you see could be a model, even with her less than stellar curves. The only thing that even reminds you of yourself is your hair. Short for a woman, but just barely outside the shortest lengths that you had seen a woman have.

"So, what shall we fix next?" Drake asked.
