Weiss never finds a date

Days later it was finally the day of the dance and the four members of team RWBY gathered in their room to get ready.

"I can't believe nobody asked me out." Weiss said as she sat depressed at her desk.

"Aw, there there Weiss cream. They were probably too intimidated to try after they heard how brutally you turned down Jaune." Yang said as she comforted her.

"Why didn't you try just asking someone?" Ruby said, the memory of her promise looming in the back of her mind.

"I did." Weiss grumbled. "I asked Neptune but he turned me down."

"So...plenty of fish in the sea was it?" Blake snarked from her bed.

Weiss sent her a glare. "Oh shut up Blake."

"Well you could still go with Jaune. I don't think he managed to get a date either." Yang said.

"Though you probably shouldn't mention you called him low hanging fruit." Blake added.

"I am not going with Jaune." Weiss said frostily. "I'm not going with a guy I have absolutely zero interest in. Besides, it's not like any of you have dates either."

Yang laughed lightly. "Yeah, but unlike you we didn't claim we'd have so many guys coming to ask us out we would have to beat them off with a stick."

"I never said that." Weiss protested.

"You certainly implied it though." Blake said with a smirk. "But since you seem so set to go alone it looks like you're forcing our team leader to go through with her promise."

Ruby eeped from her spot on her bed. Honestly, when she made that joke she hadn't been serious. She really had thought Weiss would get a date no problem.

Yang gave a big grin. "Wow Weiss, you're so set on going alone that you'll **** my little sister to go naked to a dance with all her teachers and classmates in attendance."

Ruby flushed red as the image of her walking into the cafeteria in just her birthday suit filled her mind. She could see the laughs, cheers, and jeers of everyone in attendance as everyone focused on her bare form.

"I'm not forcing her to do anything!" Weiss said standing up from her desk in shock. "We all knew she was joking when she said that."

Weiss looked over at Ruby up on her bed. "Come on Ruby, tell Yang you weren't serious about that."

Ruby flushed a deeper red as all three of her teammates turned to look at her. They knew she had been joking when she said that. Even Yang right now was just having some fun trying to embarrass her and certainly didn't expect her little sister to strut nude through Beacon's halls. She could just laugh it off right now and then the four of them would go to the dance.

But joking or not. She had made a promise. And she never went back on her word.

"I...I'll do it!" Ruby shouted as she dropped down to the floor.

Her teammates looked at her with wide eyes in surprise.

"I don't go back on a promise, either big or small." Ruby said, her pale skin flushed crimson in embarrassment. "And if that promise is going n-naked, then that's what I'll do! So Weiss, either go to the dance with Jaune or I'll do it!"

It was Ruby's final hope to avoid her promise. Ruby dearly hoped she could at least shock Weiss enough to go with Jaune to the dance. Otherwise, she would have no other choice.
