You ride into the procession, on top of a large rhinoceros-like monster beast. Mao follows behind on your right side, riding a somewhat smaller monster beast. Once your just before the altar, you finally dismount, and the tamer comes around to take the monster beasts away. After you go through the traditional rights, you kiss your bride. When you break the kiss, you notice the envious stares of the others, making you almost burst in laughter.

After that, you take your seats for your party, where everyone presents your wedding gifts. Most of the gifts have little to no value to you. Especially since many of the gifts were specifically intended for Gao. In any case, you didn’t really mind not getting something useful. This is until your given a black crystal, with a faint blue hue to it. You sensed a strange attraction to it, yet it seemed it didn’t seem to be made of yin, or any other correlation to the true seductive lotus.

“What is this?” You ask, the first time you spoken up to say more than just thanks.

“This is known as space spirit jade! It’s a crystal formed with the power of space itself. It is said that talented individuals can even absorb this power, learning the mystery’s of space it carries! Although it usually is used as the main ingredient to create a space gate” The man explained. A space gate was essentially a wormhole as you understood it. The dao of space is said to be impossible for most to learn, and quite elusive even to those who can learn a bit of it. In turn though, the power of space is quite terrifying, being on of the most powerful forms of dao known in the world. You decide to try to pick up this jade, but when you do, it reacts! Suddenly space around you becomes turbulent, and everyone quickly gets back. With space so turbulent, it’s possible that they’d be pushed outside it, to what is known as the void!

You suddenly the rush of the power of space enter you, and a cascade of mysterious and secrets of space enter your mind. For most, they would need to take great amount of time to even comprehend a scant amount of this. You on the other hand, seem to comprehend it as easily as breathing, learning it almost as fast as your being taught. The process is quite quick, and after an hour, the space spirit jade is fully absorbed. The turbulent space around you quickly calms, revealing the new aura surrounding you, which is space ****! The aura possess such power, it distorts the space is circulates through, giving you an almost illusionary appearance.

“Are you alright!” Gao yells, quickly rushing to your side, but not daring to touch you, as this new aura frightens her. Normally with her strength, she can see through most powers. The power of space is elusive though, and only those who had some understanding of it could see through it. When you open your eyes, you become aware of how the power of space heightens your senses. You then turn to where the guards are holding the man, threatening to take his life if something happened to you.

“Release him! He is blameless!” You yell, before approaching. With your new status as prince, the guards dare not disobey, and release him immediately.” Forgive their rudeness! I’ll have to think of a way to compensate you for your troubles!” You tell him.

“It’s fine my lord, but what happened! I’ve never seen such a thing occur!” The man exclaims.

“Huh? You knew what that crystal was, didn’t you? Obviously I absorbed it, and developed space ****!” You say, causing dead silence to fall everywhere. This really confused you, making you hopelessly look around for someone to explain what’s wrong.

“Your truly something else boy!” Kua approaches, laughing loudly.” There hasn’t been a practitioner of the dao of space in centuries. To not only gain insight from a single jade, but reach the level of condensing space ****, I’d call you a horrible liar if I hadn’t seen it myself.” Kua says. It dawns on you now, just how elusive the dao of space is for most. When you learned it so easily, you lost a bit of perspective of just how rare what you displayed is.

“I see!” You say, not knowing what to say next. Gao then quickly takes your arm.

“As long as your okay! That’s what really matters!” Gao says, causing everyone to erupt in cheer!

The party then goes underway. For entertainment, many thinks such as fights, circus acts, and comedians perform, as everyone feasts.

“Why not show of your new abilities boy! I’m sure it be far more entertaining than this!” He says. You nod, which surprises him. If he had learn the dao of space, he would keep its abilities a secret. You take center stage, and take a deep breath. You then disappear, before suddenly reappearing across the stage.

“I call this, space shifting!” You declare, causing everyone to be stunned. You then point two fingers out, and swing in a slicing motion, causing space to separate, causing a sliver of the pure void to fly out, before space can dissolve it.”I call this technique, void cutter!”. You weren’t done yet. You pointed at a nearby dummy, and teleported in the air using space shifting. You then raised your open hand, before squeezing it shut. The space the dummy occupied started to suddenly condense. This caused the matter’s natural repulsion to become so great, that it bursts apart.” I call this one, space condensing!” This shocked everyone even more, becoming truly terrified at the power! This is primarily since they can’t sense the power, so if they had to face it, they could only hope to resist! It was also quite apparent that these techniques possessed an extraordinary versatility, so the application’s you’ve demonstrated could only scratch the surface of it’s true ability.

“Just how terrifying! If I were to fight him, just how long could hold out!” Kua thinks, no longer thinking he has even a chance of defeating you in a fight!

When you return to your seat, you lean over to Gao.

“Tonight I’ll show you a bit more. It should make it even better!” You whisper, causing her to be shocked.

“How can it be better!” Gao thinks, the very thought causing her body to feel warm.
