Wait

"Is it possible I could wait here until my clothes dry off? It should not take long and I'd really appreciate it!", I ask them. I watch as they look at each other, and watch as she nods. After a moment of silence, she turns to me, but says "Sure, but while you wait you are going to have to do something for us. We can't have a member of the public just hang out here, but I suppose we could have you serve as a 'volunteer' while you wait."

I pause, surprised at the suggestion, but find myself quickly agreeable, "OK, sure. What would you have me do?" I watch as they get a mischievous grin on both of their faces, and soon I'm put to work cleaning and preparing for the next show. As I work, I realize there is a walking path around parts of it, where people can watch from inside the building. As I look around the covered pathway, I quickly spot a few people gazing internally at my nakedness, clearly enjoying the clear view of my attractive form. I smile and wave, trying to act casual as I clean the benches, sweep the area around the water, and so on. 'And to think, I chose this to keep away from people ', I think ruefully.

Just as I'm wondering what I saw her walk up to me then, as she proposed, "I know I would be asking more of you, but would you be willing to perform with the dolphins for us? I'm sure you'd get along fine." I pause, considering. Well, on one hand, I don't know how well that will work, but then again I'm here now and I may as well enjoy my time here.
