Very badly for Esmik and Ibera

"We were just looking for a spa," Esmik blabbers as the sheriff listens to her testimony.

"We wanted to freshen up before we continued on our journey to the elf kingdom," Ibera says.

"Then why would you go to a laundromat?" Harry asks in total confusion.

Esmik blinks. "What?"

"We're a laundromat, stupid," Tina spits out.

"But, the old elf, the uglier one," Ibera carelessly injects. "She said it was a spa when we asked her."

Tana scowls and starts to angrily say something in Elvish as the crowd boos. Tana was a respected woman in the community, and not just because she tended to get naked and show herself off whenever she got even just a sip of wine in her.

"She said no such thing!" Tina says.

"Are you calling me a liar you scrawny skank?!" Ibera boldly says, even if she's naked and bound to a post.

Tina and Tana both scowl and grit their teeth, ready to wallop Ibera right then and there.

"Please," Harry says as he steps between to the elves and Ibera. "Name calling will get us no where. We're here to get to the bottom of this mess and find the truth!"

"The truth is they burned it down!" Tina shouts.

"The truth is you're a dumb bitch!" Esmik barks back as the petty name calling resumes.

The crowd laps it up and starts hooting and hollering.

"PLEASE! BE QUIET!" Harry pitifully pleads. He's ignored of course.

"Harry," Tina says as she leans in close to the sheriff. "If you end this now, and rule in my favor, I'll..." the half-elf whispers into his ear.

The sheriff's face goes red as his eyes bug out.

"I'VE REACHED A VERDICT!" Harry shouts as the crowd grows quiet once more.

"Wait, what?" Esmik and Ibera both say at the same time while Tina smugly grins at them.
