Two large wooden tubs

The girls blink as they see a mostly-empty room with two giant wooden tubs sitting in the middle of it.

"What?" Ibera asks in utter confusion.

"Sh'Paa!" Tana, the elf happily proclaims as she smiles and closes her eyes.

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised this is all they have..." Esmik sighs.

Of course, what the two nobles have no way of knowing (since neither one ever payed attention in their Elven Language class) was the unfortunate wording of their request for a 'Spa.'

In Elven, the word Sh'Paa meant 'tub,' as in a wash or bath tub. Esmik and Ibera had walked in to a laundromat, and these were the tubs normally used to soak dirty clothes. Of course, they could be used to wash other things too, and Tana would routinely use them as her own personal bath tub (something her husband and daughter both had repeatedly asked her to stop doing because they thought it was weird when their own home had a shower, but Tana was stubborn, at least on this issue).

The fact someone else was now asking to use them for the same purpose made the elf feel validated, and she couldn't wait to tell her family about it tonight.

The two nobles sigh as they look back at Tana, who is still smiling with pride.

"Well?" Esmik asks, not too happy with the facilities.

"I dunno, I've read about these kind of Elven Shu-Paas," Ibera says as she over annunciates the last word. "They're very trendy in the East."

"Really?!" Esmik says, her opinion immediately doing a 180. "Well then what are we waiting for?"

"Everyone back home is going to be sooooo jealous of us!" Ibera giggles.

They both turn to Tana and grin. "We love it! Let's get started!"

"Ok!" Tana happily chirps.

"Great!" Esmik says, and then looks around. "So um... where do we change?"

The elf looks at them in confusion. Even after marrying a human and living among them for 25 years, the poor sweet gal still struggles with their language. "Sha'an Gee?"
