Try to save Tessa

"I'm coming!" you cry.

You tear off your ragged gown and wind it into a rope that you use to tie the sword of St. Magdalena to your naked back. You practically dive into the dark lake. The cold water shocks you and nearly takes your breath away. You focus on swimming out to the thrashing Tessa. You can see her arms flailing above the water. Her head bobs up and down and then disappears. You swim out as quickly as you can to where she was, but there is no sign of her.

"Tessa!" you call. "Ruby!"

You dive below the surface. You can barely even see your arms in the moonlight filtering through the surface of the water. Suddenly something very pale moves past your view. Was it Tessa's leg? You reach out for it and your fingers brush against something soft and slimy. Fear surges through you and you kick yourself towards the moonlight. You break the surface with a gasp of breath. What was it? What was that white thing under the water? A serpent?

You kick your legs to tread water as you turn and search the lake's surface for any sign of an animal in the water with you. Something, maybe the Burning Rose herself, tells you it is time to go. You need to get out of the lake. You set off for shore, sad to leave Tessa and Ruby to their fate but now afraid you may pay the price for their foolishness.

You make it perhaps fifty feet towards shore when something soft and slippery winds tightly your calf and around your thigh. A sharp pain pierces your inner thigh and you let out a cry of surprise. A moment later, that serpent winding around your leg pulls you forcefully under the water. You try to kick loose from it, to shake free from its slimy grasp, and yet it clings to you as if it is burrowing into your flesh wherever it touches you.

Your head is sucked under the water and you are descending into the dark lake. Deeper and deeper until you cannot see the moonlight. Another serpent winds around your other leg and you feel another sharp stab of pain. Your body is going numb. The lake is so cold and the growing pressure of depth hurts in your ears and presses against your skin. Your lungs ache with your held breath.

Suddenly, the thing pulling you down is twisting and spinning you through the water. You move past a massive pale bulk that glows faintly from within as if by lightning flashing within a storm cloud. Three red eyes stare at you. A sphincter in its flesh opens and a white cloud of liquid gushes out and surrounds you like smoke. You open your mouth and exhale in a bubbling scream. Water fills your lungs and with it a slippery foulness that seems to permeate your flesh.

You are dragged, convulsing and drowning, into an underwater cave. The thing that has you in its grasp heaves you up onto a rocky inner chamber and you **** out the water in your lungs. The first thing you realize, as you push yourself up on your hands and knees in that unnaturally lit cave, is that you are not only coated in filth from the creature, your skin itself seems to have taken on an unpleasant amphibian quality. Your skin has grown thinner and more delicate and it is covered in a slippery sheath of slime that you cannot wipe away.

The next thing you realize is that the creature still has your legs wrapped up. A long tendril wraps around each of your legs with a flared barb at the end of each that is burrowed into your leg. You are able to stand and see that these tendrils widen as they trail out from your body, becoming boneless limbs as big around as your waist before connecting with the larger white bulk of the beast that has dragged you into its lair.

The tendrils release you, leaving a V-shaped wound on each of your legs where they injected some sort of venom.

"You are a part of me now, Sister Sabine." The voice is oppressively loud and as it speaks you realize it is complete within your head. "Commune in oneness with the mind of Shaboleth. With your friends, Tessa and Ruby. With others who await you in the pleasure of the one flesh and one mind of Shaboleth."

The huge white creature wraps a tendril around your waist and drags you with it down into a shallow pit of water. Strange, pulsing globules of white emerge from the pool here and there. Among these odd formations are pale and slime-coated bodies of men and women. Their features are softened in the darkness, but you can hear their moans of pleasure within your head.

"Sabine," says a voice within your head, softer and feminine.

Tessa emerges from the water and embraces you. Her huge, soft breasts slip against your naked, slime-soaked flesh. Her nipples drag over yours and her lips smother your cry of shock. Her hand is between your thigh, caressing the slimy furrow of your cunt. Her daughter rises beside her, eyes as white as her pale skin as she begins to kiss your shoulder and stroke your hip.

"Give yourself to us, Sabine," say mother and daughter in perfect, overlapping unison within your head.

This is madness. Nauseating, horrifying madness. And you have never wanted anything more.
