Trouble on Earth

You and Jessica are making out still on the workshop table recovering from the sex you just had. The watchtower scanners start going off interrupting your moment. You and Jessica both role off the table and change than rush to the monitor room.

"What the hell could possibly be happening to ruin my day of getting laid!!!" Jessica shouts abruptly. The monitors display news reports point to metropolis park surrounded by police. At the park center crushing the superman statue is John Corben aka Metallo, A human turned robot powered by Kryptonite and a hatred for superman. From the footage, Metallo looks allot stronger than before.

"He's probably trying to call out superman for a fight." You comment.

"He's in deep space with the Lantern Corps." Jessica Replies.

"Metallo didn't get the memo, I’ll take care of this, take over watchtower duty for me Jess." You tell her.

"Fine, But you owe me a dinner at your place.” She says and than leans close to your ear. “And a hot bath.” She whispers. You both lock in another intense kiss.

You head over to the teleporter and set it to Metropolis. In an instant, You touchdown above the daily planet and in the distance is metropolis park surrounded by swat and police cars. You fly over and meet with the captain of the special crimes unit Maggie Sawyer.

“It’ about time I got some damn capes down here!” Maggie responds. “Where’s the boy scout?”

“Helping the lanterns with a planetary crisis.” You reply. “We’ve never met, I’m Starchild, Supes has mentioned you Ms. Sawyer.”

“Oh I bet he has.” She says. Maggie looks you over through her sun glasses and is visually impressed at your figure. “It’s a pleasure to meet you non the less.”

“I’m gonna assume Metallo is trying to draw out the big man, He’s usually more strategic and smarter than this.” You speculate.

“Yeah, But he’s got a new stronger body, who gave him that I don’t know.” Maggie replies. “We’ve managed to evacuate the entire park but we can’t put a single dent in that tough son of a bitch.”

“I’ve got a few tricks that should reduce him to scrap. Keep your distance and I’ll keep him busy.” You take off and head straight for Metallo. The big kryptonite powered robot is crushing what’s left of the Superman memorial statue. Before he can see you coming you fly straight into him and Metallo flies into a tree snapping it in half.

“Hours of tearing up his precious park and the big man sends one of his super friends, pathetic.” Metallo spouts recovering from his crash.

“News flash Corben, he’s off planet. You get to play with me instead!” You retort. “Where did you get the upgrade?”

He replies by opening up his chest and firing a kryptonite blast at you. You raise a light shield and block some of the impact but it soon hits you eventually. Good news is that your not kryptonian. Bad news is it still hurts a little bit.

“My turn.” You say as you raise your hands and shoot your own energy blast. Metallo raises his huge arm to deflect it but it pierces his right arm and hits his chest pushing him back again. A hole the size of a bowling ball is made in his arm plating but before you can capitalize the hole begins to repair itself in quick succession. This surprises you so you decide a direct attack. With a snap of your fingers, you create a flashbang to blind him and fly around to his backside and throw a devastating punch knocking him to the ground.

Metallo begins to get up. "Lucky shot, but that barely scratched me." He comments. You rush him again but he throws his huge arm to hit you. You grab his arm and swing him back into the dirt. He opens his chest to blast you again but you back away in time. This gives metallo time to recover and take a fighting stance.

"Give up Metallo." You command.

"Don't make me laugh, I haven't even shown you all of my new upgrades, You can't honestly believe you can beat me without superman!" He shouts back.

"Who says he needs superman metalhead!!"

From behind, two figures attack Metallo from behind and throw him across the park into a nearby playground set. This comes as a welcoming surprise for you. Your two saviors fly over to greet you.

"Need some help Handsome?"
