Training A Dragon

"I'm thinking of going to one of the Dungeon I made before. The weak ones." I tell Luna who pouts upon hearing this.

"Why? We should go to a strong one!" She says jumping up.

"Because I want to take Eimbis. I'm hoping that he'll level up from it." I say and she sighs.

"Fine, but remember! You still owe me and Innu a trip to a strong Dungeon." She says and I laugh.

"I know. I'll see you later." I say and she runs up and kisses me. She smiles before running outside. I chuckle before turning to the now-empty, cabin. I want to try that summon thing my Familiars Mark supposedly gives me. Strom said it allowed me to bring Eimbis to my mark. Then I can take him out whenever. So just try to store Eimbis and take him out? I think before reaching out. I recreate the feeling of when I stored Eimbis in my mark and when I took him out. I see my mark light up and Eimbis appears in front of me. He walks up to me and nuzzles against my legs. I bend down and pet him, happy it worked. "Do you want to go to a Dungeon, Eimbis?" I say and he roars approvingly. I store him back in my mark and open my list of created Dungeons. I decide to enter the Nature Elemental Dungeon since they're weak to fire. This way Eimbis will, hopefully, be able to kill enemies that are twice his level. However, I'm basing all this on a lot of guesswork. Since my Familiar and I are linked the Mark, I'm hoping he'll level up like me, not by training like everyone else. I add Eimbis to my party and his icon appears immediately. Normally it takes a moment since they have to accept it. I shrug it off and I decide to Observe Eimbis. I want to check his current level and see if it'll go up by the time we leave.

He hasn't leveled up since I got him. I think briefly before entering the Dungeon. I look around and don't see anything. We start walking and I look at my map. There are quite a few trees and rocks here. I really need to harvest them, I haven't been doing that lately. I think with a bit of guilt before Eimbis starts growling. I look at where he is and see a Nature Elemental walking towards up. I remember how the last time I fought them, they all knew where I was even though only one of them saw me. I take my horns out and Eimbis attacks. He runs and jumps up when the Elemental shoots a ball of green light. He uses his wings to get above it and breathes fire down on the Elemental.

I store the item away when I sense the mana around us change. I cast Mana Shield on Eimbis as another ball of light gets shot at him. The shield manages to absorb all the damage and we turn to the attacker. There are two of them, both running at us. I have Eimbis attack, wanting him to get the kills. This way if I'm wrong about him leveling up with Exp, he'll level up like Luna does from training. By getting more skill and power in combat. I look and see Eimbis jump to dodge one ball of light but leaving himself exposed to the other. I cast another Mana Shield since my first wore off. Eimbis continues, either not noticing or caring about the attack. He breathes fire on the first Elemental and lands before quickly spinning and doing the same to the other.

I go and store the materials away before petting Eimbis. He nuzzles against my palm and I feel two more shots coming. I feel they're coming for me and draw my Katana. I cut them both out of the air, thanks to my Thought Acceleration. I see Eimbis run into some large bushes and smile. I continue evading or cutting down the shots for half a minute before I see three quick bursts of fire light up the dark forest.

I smile and go store the items away. We slay three more Elementals on our way, earning 780 Exp and 627$. As well as one more rare and two common material drops. After we finished the last one we stopped getting attacked. I assume we slayed all the Elementals and only have the boss left. My assumption is soon confirmed when we find the boss. It's large, at least double my height, and has a womanly shape. Its entire body is human-shaped and it even has hair. Instead of skin, however, she has wood with glowing green light connecting them. Her eyes are glowing green and her hair is a long green mist. She's walking around a large wooden chest in the middle of a clearing. I can't help but get excited at the sight of the chest. I Observe the boss and see Eimbis look at me, waiting for his time to attack.

I smile upon seeing it's weak to fire. I look to Eimbis and he looks at me excitedly.

"Let's go get her, Eimbis." I say and he nods before quickly jumping and flying to the clearing, and the boss.
