Going Home

I spend some time talking to Liz. She tells me about some of her memories from when she lived with the Dryads. After an hour or so of this, I get a call from Luna.

"Hey Luna, what's up?" I ask her after picking it up.

"When will you be back!" She asks a little too loud.

"Did something happen?"

"N-no but..." She suddenly stops and I hear Asami start yelling. I can barely make out bits and pieces of what she says. Something about waiting and listening. The call ends and I chuckle.

"Do you need to go?" Liz asks a little disappointed.

"Yeah, I probably should. But there's something I need to give you first." I say while standing up. I pull her up and kiss her, before making her a Citizen of my Domain. When I pull away she pulls me back in for another kiss. When she lets go I look at her hand. In her hand is a ring with a small purple crystal on it.

"Thank you, good sir." She says causing me to chuckle and she smiles.

"I'll see you later Liz."

"I'll see you tomorrow morning." She replies smiling.

"Why? Should I be worried?"

"No, it's a surprise. A good surprise, I promise. Now get going mister." She says gently pushing me and I laugh before telling her bye and entering my Domain. I check the time and see it's almost 3 PM. I walk out of my cabin and see Luna running from Asami's Minotaur and Fishman. When she sees me she turns and runs to me.

"Alpha!" She says while giving me her usual tackle/hug. I start petting her and see Asami walking up to us.

"Sorry Eric. She just refused to listen to me when I told her to wait before we called." She says.

"It's fine, I was done with what I needed to do anyways. I was just talking with them." I say, not telling them about Liz in case it had to do with her surprise tomorrow.

"So what took you so long, Master." Asami asks blushing a little. I smile and walk over to her.

"Let's go inside and chat, It'll be more comfortable." I say while picking her up. She looks up at me with a bit of anger but I notice her small smile and flushed cheeks. I carry her inside and set her down on the couch. Luna straddles me, jealous that I didn't carry her as well. I start telling them about what happened. From fighting the Hydra to the talk with the Devil of Temptation and the Demon God. I, again, leave out what happened with Liz in case it ruins her surprise. Instead, I tell them that Liz explained what happened with the Demon Gods' eyes and that I spent longer than I did talking with the Devil.

"You should've brought me to fight the Hydra." Luna says with a pout.

"I'll get you next time, promise. So where are Innu and Ramia? And did Myla and Hino go back?" I ask.

"Innu and Ramia are taking a bath. Apparently, Ramia was taking a blood sample from Innu while she was brewing another potion. The potion exploded while they were there and they're cleaning themselves off. Oh, but don't worry. They're fine, they were far enough not to get hurt but a lot of the contents got on them." Asami says before Luna takes over.

"You should've seen it Alpha! They came down covered in dark red liquid. Asami started freaking out, thinking it was blood." She says and Asami pouts.

"Well, I don't have your sense of smell. So I didn't know it wasn't blood." Asami says and I laugh.

"So how's the room?" I ask them

"It's fine. I went to clean it up, and saw that all that was left was a scorch mark and a broken cauldron. I think Ramia knew this could happen because the cauldron was isolated. And the Workshop didn't take any permanent damage. The cauldron is the only broken thing inside." Asami answers.

"So what have you two been up to?"

"Training!" Luna answers and I pet her and Asami.

"What has Eimbis been up to?"

"He's been flying around, as usual. He seems to have taken a liking to the floating islands. But speaking of which, we need more food for him. He's eating it faster than the Monsterologist said." Asami answers. I remember back when Strom told me how much meat I should have for Eimbis, back when I first showed him the Baby Dragon.

"Okay, I'll make another Fishman Dungeon. He seems to like it, but I'll keep an eye out for other meat sources." I reply and Asami holds up her phone.

"I actually looked into that earlier. Since most Familiars eat a lot of meat, their masters may get into uncomfortable or awkward situations if people start asking why they have so much meat. So the government created this, a monster farm. They farm monsters by leaving Dungeons alone. This allows the monsters within to start escaping. The farm encloses the monsters and makes it seem like a factory. Then they use undead from a necromancer to slay those that get out. It's slow and very dangerous so only weak monsters are farmed. Like Slimes, Goblins, and the like. They probably won't taste as good, but they do sell the monster meat."

"Speaking of money, how much do you think we'd need for the Guild Hall?" I ask her and she smiles.

"Well, most of the buildings I showed you are going to need repairs. Obviously, we need stuff like desks and furniture, but we should wait until the hall is done being repaired. So I'd say... About 150 thousand, on top of what you need to buy the building."

"That much!?" Luna asks, shocked at the price.

"Yeah, it's probably going to take another year or two at least to get that much." Asami says a little upset and I just smile and pet the two of them.

"Well, I happen to have that amount. I have about 160 thousand from monsters and the like and another 116 thousand from selling stuff on the L-market." I say and they both turn to me surprised.

"Really?" Asami asks in disbelief while Luna hugs me.

"Yep, so Asami. Those buildings are abandoned, right? Do you think they'd mind if we took a look around them?" I ask and she smiles before hugging me as well.

"Probably not, as long as we don't loiter. When should we go?" She asks me.

"Tomorrow, that way Innu and Ramia could go with us. They are guild members too." I say. We stay like this for a while longer before Asami gets up.

"Well, to celebrate I'm going to go cook up another feast!" She says before disappearing.

"What should we do now, Alpha?" Luna asks me.
