To The Eluvian

You followed Morrigan down the halls and soon she lead you to a large Eluvian mirror. She went a little silent as you inspected it, "It's an Eluvian, like the one I saw you enter when we last saw each other." You said softly with a little perplexed look,

"It is," She said with a little nod before walking up to it, "What you need to see is inside." She said activating it, "Please, come." She said while taking your hand and stepping through the mirror. You took a little moment before reluctantly stepping into the Eluvian. You blinked a few times and looked around, you were clearly in the fade,

"Morrigan...what are we doing here?" You asked looking back to her, "And where is here exactly?"

"This is the crossroads." Morrigan said simply before motioning her hand for you to follow her, "What this place is does not matter, it is simply where they are."

"They?" You asked with a raised brow, "Morrigan, I don't understand. What are you talking about?" She was silent as she lead you along, minutes past before so stopped standing to the side allowing you to see a young boy, "Who is that?"

"That..." She said trying to work up the courage to talk, "That is your son." You turned to her, your eye holding her gaze, "I did not lie all those years ago, the night we shared a room I did conceive a child. He was born with the soul of an untainted god...now however he is nothing more than a simple boy. Your boy." She said walking over to you trying to keep you calm and leveled,

"I-you never told me about him." You said a bit hurt,

"I know, I was trying to protect him from Flemeth. This turned to be a fruitless effort, a waste of time." She replied softly,

"But I don't understand, you still kept him here. Even after you needn't any longer." You replied with a little frown,

"Of course I did, with the dangers of the world and not to mention what that brute of an Inquisitor was doing to me...It was safest for him to stay here. It still is." She replied sternly,

"So why are you showing me him now?" You asked a little confused,

"Because he is your son." She quickly pointed out, "You've freed me from that man's control, allowed me to return here to take care of him. Now I will not have him in the hold but you have the right to see him if you wish. That is all."

You looked past her to the boy before peering back to her, "What's his name?"

"Kieran." She said with a small smile,

"Kieran." You said back to yourself before stepping past her and walking to meet your son.
