Time to see a priest about a catgirl

You've talked it over with Doe and Sandra the most, but all your catgirls know that come spring you'll need to find new homes for some of their number. It's been Doe, Renee and Yvonne who've done a lot of the legwork - they've talked to all the girls and found those who most want to stay together. Though there haven't been many rivalries they also kept track of girls who get on each other's nerves. Sandra has kept a different kind of catalog - which girls are shy, which are aggressive, which have shown a greater or lesser interest in sex since their transformation and a list of their previous lives.

With both lists you begin searching for the kind of catgirls best suited to the care of the church. Because you're a bit of a deviant you want a very particular kind of catgirl - those who like sex but hide it well. You also pick girls who have a deep desire to fit in. When you search through the reams of parchment you find several who fit the mold and not surprisingly many of them tend to stick together. There are a few more troublesome girls who've befriended them, but that just makes you smile. No need to make things too easy on the clergy.

Once you've chosen just over a dozen of your new race you set about dressing them. Doe and Sandra have given all the girls lessons on the kingdom and these have included clothing. About two thirds of your catgirls find fabric a little uncomfortable and prefer to go naked or nearly naked. The others enjoy the various cuts and colors of clothes and the effect they have on their bodies.

You invite a few mid- to high-level priests to your home. It's not too unusual - mages often want to demonstrate particularly dangerous or questionable spells to the priests early on so that they can report back to the rest of the clergy that the spell is helpful and useful, regardless of what people are whispering. As one of the most powerful (and least religious) mages in the capital you've never bothered, but they all accept your invitation.

Just a few days later, in the solarium, you sit with the six priests to whom you've chosen to reveal your masterwork. They are as carefully chosen as the girls themselves. Two are devout and truly good men of the church, each in charge of a small but well respected chapel. A third is a man named Janawk who's in charge of the largest chapel in the city and you know that he's 'less conventional' than most people think. Then there's the Abbess of the largest abbey in the country - probably more powerful in her own right than most counts. There's also Sister Hanna, leader of the largest and most prestigious chantry in the city and Deacon Lorrick, one of the greatest experts on church law. In your opinion the Deacon is more morally flexible than just about anyone else in the church but he hides it well.

You've put on a feast that is fine enough to satisfy but not so fine as to offend. As all of them sip on tea you finally explain the reason you've brought them here. At first they assume you're joking, but then you got to the doors and let in the fourteen catgirls who've been waiting patiently and snacking on smoked meats. The room falls into stunned silence and you explain that though you've save their lives you would appreciate help in saving their souls.

You make introductions and the catgirls start asking questions. They're interested in the church, the abbey, what the city's like and so on. The various priests have questions too, but the girls explain their amnesia and you end up answering most of them. The abbess is aghast at the fact four of them are very obviously pregnant and according to you unwed, but you tell her that those with child were the first to leave their villages while their mates stayed behind.

It takes quite a while for them to come around. You know the Abbess is very conservative, but she's also outside the main church hierarchy. If you can convince her to go home with a pair of your most demure catgirls she'll be unable to speak out against them. The Deacon is already coming up with ways to circumvent some of the chruch's laws if it gives him a chance to take a few catgirls into his care. You're most surprised by the chantry leader - Sister Hanna is absolutely thrilled with the catgirls and is almost begging the other church leaders to help these poor orphans.

You've done your part, but no one would know. Over the last few nights you've poked and prodded at the girl's dreams, making sure they're more likely to go with particular churchmen and women. It's subtle, but you know the Abbess will want the shyest and most cautious catgirls - two sisters who are, you're happy to say, carrying your children. Perhaps the only six babies they'll have between them, but at least they'll be yours. When they come of age the abbey will try to find homes for them, as is traditional.

Sister Hanna is approached by three girls with very sweet voices who want to hear what a choir can do. She looks so happy - you expected her to be so much more trouble, but their eager, honey-sweet voices have done all the convincing you need.

Deacon Lorrick is already holding Fiona's hand - she's snow white, small breasted, 4'11" and though she looks shy and cute you know from Doe that she's asked a lot of questions about sex. Despite her small stature her belly is quite swollen with four of your little catgirl babies. You weren't certain the Deacon had a taste for pregnant girls, but you're sure now. It's something you'll keep in mind. Perhaps in a few months he'll want to help another poor unwed catgirl.

The other catgirls drift to the various chapel leaders where they soon receive promises of help. Particularly eager promises from Janawk, who offers to help four, one of them a red-furred girl with twins in her belly. Each of the other two chapel leaders take a pair of catgirls to look after.

With that the lunch is over and your guest leave with your catgirls, taking them to their new homes. You feel sorry at seeing them go, but you take Sandra's arm in yours and head downstairs to the storerooms and the **** cages. It will take almost a week, but you'll soon have more young catgirls to replace those you gave up today. Doe does so enjoy teaching the newcomers about the kingdom.
