What Now?

Time to Find Out a Little More About "Camp Everwood"

After they came, Lizzie almost immediately got up and started walking away.

"Hey! Lizzie! wait a sec!" Sam said. She stopped and turned back around. "Listen, that was great and I don't need to cuddle or anything, but I have no idea what's fucking happening right now. Cassie said something before about needing a schedule? Where am I supposed to go to get that?

"Oh my god," Lizzie said. "Veronica was supposed to meet you here and set that up! I knew something weird was going on when I found you in here with Cassie...

Oh! So that's something you should know: The counselors are all super selective about who gets to fuck in their bunks," her voice got increasingly more serious as she explained the extremely convoluted (and unofficial) inter-bunk fraternization rules. "So none of them like it when another counselor scoops up one of their sluts and fucks under their roof."

"Ok..." Sam said. "Good to know... But I still need someone to show me around and stuff."

"Right! Totally!" She said. "Well, I can't really take you around and introduce you to everybody because I need to go down to the lake to find Chad, but you can totally tag along and I'll point out some of the buildings and stuff. Cool?"

Sam nodded. " Yeah, Let's do it," he said, prompting an obvious giggle from Lizzie.

"OK!" Lizzie said, giving him a thumbs up. "So I'm going to go shower. You can too, if you like. Let's meet right outside the bunk in ten minutes."

Sam returned Lizzie's thumbs up, then went over to the bed Lizzie said was his and grabbed a fresh set of clothes, which was already there for him. By the time he turned back, Lizzie had already disappeared.

After the shower, Sam stepped out of the bunk and found Lizzie sitting on the edge of the bunk's front porch.

"O-K!" Lizzie said. Somehow her enthusiasm had increased after her shower. "Did you take your pill yet!? You don't want to walk around without packin' a stiffy. You want to make the right impression, right?"

Sam suddenly got very nervous. If this place was really like a summer camp, there was going to be come crazy social hierarchy he was going to have to fit into. "Oh, yeah," he said. "No, hold on." He turned to go back to the bunk. He saw a few containers of pills on his nightstand.

"Oh, forget it," she said. "I have one here." She shoved the pill in his mouth. Almost immediately, he could feel his cock start to stretch his shorts. "And don't worry," she said, "With that on display, you could say anything and still make a great impression." It was as if she read his mind. "Now come on!"

Sam and Lizzie walked down the circular path back towards the administration room. "These," she said as she waved her hands around, "are the bunks. This is where everyone in Tier 1 lives, and the counselors who watch over them."

"Wait a second..." Sam said. "So there are more people who live here? How big is this place?"

"Shit..." Lizzie cursed under her breath. "Well... Yeah! There's another area of the camp for people who have to stay here longer then normal." Lizzie started speaking very quickly. "Dr. Vandersloot never kicks people out, but after a certain amount of time, they need to change up the treatment strategy. So there's a whole other camp with those people on the other side of the lake. There's nothing wrong with that, by the way. If I had been here since I first arrived without completing my therapy, I would probably be there."

"Oh, gotcha." Sam said. "I never got the chance to read the brochure or anything, so I had no idea. These place just seems... Well, I just can't tell where I am with all the trees and winding paths and everything.

"Oh don't sweat it," she took in a deep breath of relief. "You'll get the hang of it in no time."

"What's that for?" Sam pointed to the stage at the center of the bunk area.

"Welllll," Lizzie said, "that is for big events when the whole camp gets together, like talent shows and announcing new people... You see, normally we bring new campers here in big waves; it's like 40-50 people and it happens twice a year. They let you come early, which is super cool! But I don't know if they'll do a camp-wide meeting for one person."

"Well it's not just me actually," Sam said. "I came here with my older brother and two sisters. But yeah, I see your point."

Lizzie went bug-eyed. "Wait, you have family in here with you!? That is so fucked up... And ho..." When Sam gave her a weird look, she shook her head, as if to snap out of a trance. "Yeah, like, so fucked up."

They turned down the path between bunks two and three. After about fifty feet, the path sloped downhill, revealing the lower area of camp, there were six cabins or so along the path, plus a dock and boathouse by the water. The lake itself was incredible. A dark blue void that extended almost to the horizon. When he squinted, Sam thought he could see the camp on the other side.

"Sooooo," Lizzie said, "The cabins here are for drama, that one's gymnastics... Debate? I think that one's debate. I never get assigned to it so I wouldn't know."

Looking left, just past the far side of the bunk circle, the hill sloped up, where there were two decks overlooking the water.

Lizzie pointed to a path that wrapped around the lake's edge. "There are fields on the other side of this hill for stuff like capture the flag and soccer. There's the path along the lake here, but you can go over the hill on the path by the bunks."

"So this really is just like a summer camp?" Sam said.

"Well, almost," Lizzie said. "As part of the treatment, everyone has to go to one-on-one and group therapy in the lab. Also, some of the **** we use are super-experimental, so we help test them. I think that's how the Mr. V pays for all this..."

That last point gave Sam pause. He knew it would be best to play it cool for now, but he had an extremely strong urge to make a break for it.

What Happens Now?
