Time for Backstory

Xander stared at his new blank slate and was aware that he now had to make some major decisions. He couldnt just turn this new girl loose without building something for her to fall back on because as of right now she had no family, no history, no home, no nothing. Not even her own face and body. That would be cruel.

So first things first build her a set base body. She could change it later but would always return to the form he was crafting. So what had come to mind first?

Right.

"I wish her base body was 18years old. And... and her appearance should be a mix of Ornella Muti and Slama Hayek. Ornella more in the face and Salma more in the body."

"Granted." Anya made his word happen.

Xander looked at the flesh ripple and reform and when he looked down at the new girl he was... pretty hot. Beautiful definitely. Although...

"I wish she was naked."

Anya made it happen.

Xander looked over the naked woman and was pleased with what he saw. Almost perfect.

"I wish she had only enough pubic hair for an all natural landing strip. I wish she had no mustache or other annoying and unwanted body hair."

Anya made the wishs happen.

Xander smiled. "Uh, i wish she had a narrower waist for a really exaggerated hour glass figure."

Anya made it happen.

"Right. That's her body handled." Xander rubbed a hand over his chin, "So... backstory..."

"Name... need a good name... Cat is good. Catherine can stay as her first name, thats generic enough. Cat to her friends. But need a new last name, she cant be Catherine Madison." Xander frowned.

"You are overthinking this, Master." Anya chimed in. "The wish will do all the work."

Xander waved her off, "I want this work. I think. Or... i feel responsible for this so I better do it. And do it right. I'm going to end up relying on the Wish to fill in the cracks of the story Im making for her to live out, anyways."

"Sooo last name.... what if... what if I take the inspiration's last names and merge... hmm. Mayek? Hayti?" He gave a quick look at Anya, "You wouldnt happen to know if either are real last names, would you?"

"Both are, actually." Anya answered. "I would go with Mayek over Hayti as Hayti is traditionally french in origin and Cat doesnt seem to be all that french. Mayek as a last name is more present in America."

Xander blinked and automatically nodded his head. "R- right. Good to know. So... I wish her new name is Catherine 'Cat' Mayek."

Anya nodded her head, "Granted."

"So... living situation... uhhhh..." xander blinked as he had nothing.

"She can live with me." Anya chipped in. "My living situation was all handled by my magic when I first arrived here. I have a two bedroom apartment. The backstory i created was of an orphaned girl who was living on her own given her family had recently died under mysterious circumstances. I recieve money from the government to handle all my basic needs loke rent, food, power, clothing and whatever."

Xander bobbed his head. "Yeah. That... that works. But... uhm... slight change make it so that she moved here three years ago."

"Why master?"

"Because that way she's been her long enough to be a friend and also she would have been here for the Halloween spell which would explain how she got shape-shifting powers as she dressed as Mystique." Xander said having had the idea just that second.

"Do you wish that?" Anya asked.

"I wish it." Xander nodded his head.

"Is there anything else, Master?"

"Uh, I wish she was a film nerd, sci fi lover, comic book reader who... uhm... ran track and... geez" xander tried to think up something interesting but also useful to Scooby life, "Oh, she fences and studies swordfighting like Princess Bride and all that."

"Your wish is granted, Master." Anya intoned.
