The well

The well, though cracked and chipped, appears to be in working condition. A pair of ornate marble benches frame the well, worn but still sturdy. There is a clear bucket and pulley system, with a rope disappearing into the liquid at the bottom. Pulling the bucket up, it's filled with a strange liquid, seemingly not quite water as it seems to be slightly more white and opaque. At a touch, however, it feels enough like water.

Perhaps the strangest part is the flowers ringing the base of the well, which at a closer glance all appear to simply be the same exact shape, with all five petals in the same positions. Only the color differs, and at a closer glance it's clear that even that is uniform, with a pattern of four colors repeating- red, orange, yellow, purple and then red again. Near the entrance to the room where you came from, however, there is a set of eight flowers which appear wilted and brown, taking up what seems like a significant portion of the bottom of the well, almost halfway around. As you look closer, another flower just to the right turns brown and wilts, falling into the same position as the others.
