The stranger calls

The phone rings wake you hours later. Still sore and sleepy you attempt to ignore it but it persists. Finally, you pull the phone from your pocket waking Jessie in the process and are greeted by that mysterious stranger.

"Rise and shine!" says the voice far too happy given the situation.

"You, what do you want?" you ask practically spitting and going to speaker phone.

"Simply welcoming you to your new life and wishing you luck to a fresh start. You got pregnant again so you're a girl from here on, and Jess, you only got one girl pregnant, so a boy you will remain."

Too angry to speak you do the one act of defiance you have left. You hang up on the stranger this time.
