The sisters prepare for a new city

Elizabeth wakes Jenna and Jessica up several hours before the next sundown to prepare for their journey. A human is standing next to her. She looks to be in her thirties, with a good figure. Her brown hair is straight and falls down her back. She has beautiful green eyes and slight freckles.

"Ladies, this is Vanessa. She will serve as your head of household in the new city. She will manage your staff of thralls, and keep your house in order."

"Pleased to meet you, Mistresses" Vanessa says, shaking Jenna and Jessica's hands. She seems a little more... individual...than the usual thrall Jessica thinks.

Sensing Jessica's thoughts, Elizabeth explains: "Oh, no Vanessa isn't our thrall. She is a human who worships us, who recognizes our status on this world. To reward her service, we share a bit of vampire blood with her from time to time. It has profound anti aging effects for the humans. Vanessa has been with me since 1927." Elizabeth laughs.

The sisters descend the stairs with Elizabeth. Jessica are dressed and packed (not that they have anything to pack). Assembled in the foyer are seven human females.

"These are your thralls. They have been instructed to follow Vanessa's direction, and obviously yours as well. They are well trained so I'd recommend that you don't drain them, find others for food." Elizabeth winks at Jenna, who looks embarrassed.

"How are we getting there?" Jenna asks.

"Flying is too... unpredictable... I'm afraid, so unfortunately you'll need to drive." Elizabeth explains. "We've outfitted a van to have a windowless chamber in the back with a bed and a wash station. You'll sleep in there during the day. The drive is about two days. Vanessa will drive your van. Your thralls will be in the other van, following you."

Elizabeth snaps her fingers. Two naked women are brought forward, gagged, their hands bound behind their backs.

"Some snacks for the road" Elizabeth laughs.

After the sun goes down, the vampiresses assemble on the driveway. The thralls are already in their van. Elizabeth and the other vampiresses of her brood, some of whom Jessica recognizes and some she doesn't, hug and kiss Jenna and Jessica goodbye. Elizabeth holds Jessica in a tight embrace. "Make me proud, child" she whispers in Jessica's ear.

The vampiresses get into the back of the van with their human meals for the road, as Vanessa closes the van doors. They are off, driving towards an uncertain future.
