The group interrupts the story

Monica asks, “How is anyone still friends with you? You were a real asshole.”

Joey agrees, “I wasn’t my best self that night. And Chandler forgave me after I set him up with the sexiest slut of his life.”

“You’ve been a jerk this entire story,” Monica says to Joey, then looks at me and asks, “Which girl was that?” I don’t have time to answer because the conversation keeps going.

“I hated him when I first met him,” Rachel agrees. “And you keep talking about my body like I’m some piece of meat. If you talk about my boobs again, I might punch you.”

Joey feints shock, “I’ve been complimenting your body. It’s even better now than ten years ago. You age well.”

Rachel balls her hand into a fist. Ross places his hand on her forearm. He says, “He was an asshole but he was our asshole. And Phoebe fucking tamed his ass. She wasn’t putting up with any of his shit.”

“I agree with that,” Rachel said. “Joey definitely changed for the better once he met Phoebe.”

Phoebe puts a hand on her heart, “That’s so sweet. I domesticated an asshole.” She laughs, “But he still always tries to get us into threesomes.”

Joey laughs, “It’s much easier to start a threesome when you have such a hot wife.”
