The competition begins!

Since your age and cultivation are relatively low, your matched with younger and lower level cultivators. Your true qi is far higher quality and sword skill extraordinary for your age though, leaving them greatly outmatched. Instead of drawing your sword, you instead dash up to them, and push them out. With them being so much slower and weaker, they aren’t able to even resist getting knocked out of the ring. This gives most of the audience great disappointment, as this isn’t the entertaining sword duels they expected, causing them to quickly develop disdain for you. They even went so far as to bother the head overseer, Cheng Jiahao. When he walks out into the stands you immediately take notice. This is the first time seeing a saint spirit realm cultivator.

A saint spirit realm cultivator can be considered a king in this world, as they’re are very few that can reach that realm. They are also extremely powerful, as even a peak great spirit realm cultivator can barely scratch them. This is mainly due to their saint qi! Saint qi is a type of evolution of ones true qi when they breakthrough into the saint spirit realm, and is said it’s potency is ten times greater than the same quality of true qi. Usually a saint spirit realm cultivator has better qi quality as well, making the difference in strength even greater. The man before is only at the first level, but you can tell that he could easily crush you if desired.

“There’s nothing wrong with him pushing his opponent out! If he can defeat them without a sword, then how can you be entertained if he uses one!” Cheng says. Your opponent is announced to be Lin Li, a dainty woman. Despite her appearance, she’s a fierce fighter. Her cultivation is at the seventh level, and her sword **** is even a bit stronger than your sister’s. Your confident you’ll win, but it won’t be an easy win. You both bow to each other, before unsheathing your swords.

“Finally drawing your blade? A wise decision! I won’t nearly be as easy to defeat as the others you faced so far!” Lin declares, a smug smile on her face

“True! I’ll use my full ability to defeat you!” You say calmly, before unleashing your sword ****. Although you know this fight would quickly be over if you used your seductive aura, you rather use this opportunity to hone your sword skill. You both dash of, rapidly striking at one another, hoping to bypass the other’s defense. The battle goes on for about a half an hour.

“Your better than I gave credit! Although your young, you truly are a sword saint through as through!” Lin praises.

“Thank you! I’ve also gained a lot from studying your technique! It’s time to end this though!” You say, before dashing forward. Your words serve to stun her for a moment, causing her to just barely parry your attack. She’s completely **** on the defensive, as you practically perfectly counter her technique. It only takes a minute, before you pin her with your sword and win. The crowd cheers loudly, your performance completely changing their perspective.

“You really are something! I’ve never met someone who could completely see through someone’s technique in a single fight. Your truly a genius of the sword dao!” She praises, bowing before you.

“Thank you! It’s clear that your sword technique has been refined diligently! I look forward to the next time we can spar together.” You say, bowing back.

“Until next then!” Lin says, before walking of the stage. You also quickly rush of the stage. Everyone congratulates you on your win, as you all head out to eat. You cultivate with them through the night as you’ve been doing, taking a short nap before your next match!
