Jason: hey why arent you out with hannah and the girls
Jenna: u know y
Jason: dont be like that Jen. Im sorry about the other night we were both drinking things maybe got out of hand
Jenna: i cant let that happen again im a married woman and if go out dancing again with you i dont know whatl happen.
Jason: fine then maybe ill see you around town sometime
Jenna: wtf do you mean around town? Im going home in the morning
Jason: me too. Didnt hannah tell you I live two towns over? Hannah n I've been friends for a while. I thought you knew that

There's no response from Jenna after that, though Jason texted a few more times that night before giving up. Your emotions spin. Something happened the previous night, something Jenna didn't want to repeat. Your mind can come up with several likely things, none good.

The next exchange was Tuesday, less than two weeks ago, around 1:22 PM

Jason: Im at the coffee shop wo blocks down from ur studio. Can we have coffee and talk about this?
Jenna: Jason wtf how do you know where my studio is
Jason: Hannah told me
Jenna:I cant Jason Im fucking married how many times do i have to say it.
Jason: Its just coffee. I want to work this out. You're a cool girl, i want to be friends
Jason: you can trust me
Jenna: its not you im worried about jason

5 minutes later
Jenna: u still there at coffee place?
Jason: y
Jenna: ok im on my way. I dont have much time, so dont expect much.
Jason: ty.

You think back to that day. Your memory is fuzzy, but Jenna hadn't come home until around 4 that day, which had been unusual, but not unusual enough for you to note it at the time. You feel a little encouraged by Jenna's insistence on her married status, but discouraged by the fact that she hadn't simply blocked him, and worse, that it seems she did meet him for coffee.

10:22 PM, same day
Jason: thnx again for today It was nice to talk
Jenna: yah so nice that I lost track of time ur lucky James isn't the suspicious type
Jason: I can tell that your more relaxed around me. I can feel you loosen up. Hannah said your marriage is having trouble
Jenna: she doesn't know what she's talking about my marriage is fine
Jason: ok
Jenna: It is Jason
Jason: who are you trying to convince? If youre happy then why did we make out in my hotel room
Jenna: becuz im stupid. and we did more than makeout...
Jason: I was trying to be polite and i dont think ur stupid jenna. i think that happened becuase your not happy and you cant admit that to yourself
Jenna: James is a good man and treats me right we've been married 19 years what do i have to be unhappy about except that i might be throwing that all away right now
Jason: theres lots of reasons Jenna. boredom, the need for something fresh and new and exciting
Jenna: i shouldnt be talking about this with you
Jason: well im a good listener
Jenna: he does watch a lot of porn and sometimes he can't cum when we have sex but hes getting older thats normal im not upset about it
