The Rooftops

At the end of the school day, Marcie excused herself and brought Gina with her to the school's rooftop.

As per Susan's commands, Marcie had forbidden Gina from doing anything to harm Susan. The two girls found Susan crying on the rooftop. Marcie felt bad for her but she wasn't sure if it was genuinely sympathy or just Susan's command to love her.

"Gina, I command you to fall in love with Susan"

Suddenly, Gina was now smitten with Susan for some reason.

"Please, Susan-" said Marcie.

"Transfer command of Gina over to me" said Susan.

"Gina, you are to obey Susan's commands, not mine"

"Well, since you both have to obey my orders" said Susan, "I command Marcie to jump off the rooftop"

"What?!" said Gina, "are you insane?"

Marcie found herself walking over to the ledge. This was it. She was going to die. Marcie had expected Susan to humiliate her, not kill her. She climbed over the ledge and jumped. Suddenly she felt something grab her by her collar.

Susan had grabbed Marcie just in time and pulled her back up.

"Well, I guess that means you're not faking" said Susan, "sorry about that. I had to be sure this wasn't another trick"

Susan then turned to Gina.

"You are to forget about Marcie jumping off the rooftop"

"What happened?" asked Gina, confused.

"Do you remember the last few minutes?" asked Susan.

"No, its all a blur"

"Good" said Susan, "now jump off the rooftop"

Gina did exactly as Marcie had done and Susan caught her.

"Was that necessary?" asked Marcie.

"I had to be sure you weren't tricking me like you did with Marel. Slap yourself harder than last time"

Marcie slapped herself across the face again.

"That was turning Marel against me, making her think I betrayed her"

"But the curse compels me to obey you and you specifically stated I couldn't find any way to rebel or exploit loopholes" said Marcie.

"I can't take any chances" said Susan, "one mistake and my life is over. You wanna know why I asked you here? It wasn't just to make sure you were under my control. It was in case you got one over on me. I have been very close to ending it"

"Ending it?" asked Marcie.

"My life" said Susan, "you betrayed me and turned everyone against me. Everyone hates me because of you"

Marcie was shocked by Susan's statement. Was she just being dramatic or had Marel done something really bad to her? She then remembered what Marel had told her, that Susan had cut herself.

"What did Marel do to you?" asked Marcie.

"Apart from making me her plaything forever, she hadn't actually done anything particular cruel. But I doubt she'd ever forgive me. Tell me, why did you discard me?"

"You went too far with Gina" said Marcie, "you could have broken her"

"But you were fine breaking me, Cutie and the Leaders"

"You played with fire, don't cry when you get burned, Cutie is a masochist and the Leaders were a necessary sacrifice"

"Well, if we follow that logic, your enslavement to me is entirely your fault" said Susan, "and masochists don't exist"

"What? You believe masochism is something people made up? Are you deluded or something?"

"But tell me, Marcie, did you forgive me for cutting you? Like this"

Marcie unbuttoned her shirt and showed Marcie and Gina the scar Marel told Marcie about. It was in the exact same place as the scar Susan had given Marcie.

"Marel told me about it" said Marcie, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean for things to get that bad for you"

"It was penance for what I did do you. I thought you might like it" said Susan.

Marel was right to be worried about her. Susan clearly had issues if she thought Marcie wanted her to cut herself.

"Jesus Christ, I didn't hate you that much" said Marcie.

"Please, truthfully tell me, did you forgive me for it?" asked Susan again, "or was my mistake stepping out of line?"

"It was you stepping out of line" said Marcie, "Lindsey was more competent than you and you're just a cocktail of things I hate in a person but I didn't think you'd take it this bad"

"So you never really cared me? But it doesn't matter now that I made you love me" said Susan, "and with your help, I can rule the school myself"

"What are you trying to accomplish?" asked Marcie, "you might have control over me and Gina but the other girls would turn on me if they found out I was your servant"

"Oh no, I know better than to rule directly" said Susan, "the only people who don't hate me now right now are you two and that's only because of a curse than allows me to make you not hate me"

"Then what do you propose?"

"You will transfer ownership of myself from Marel to you"

"Marel doesn't think she betrayed her anymore" said Marcie, "she at least believes you thought the curse was true"

"Can't trust her" said Susan, "she might just be trying to build me up so she can break me down like you did"

"What did you think we were?" asked Marcie.

"I thought you were my friend" said Susan, starting to cry.

"So you would be my plaything?" said Marcie, "how does that benefit you"

"I will only appear to be your ****" said Susan, "no doubt you will have some fun humiliating me. But in truth, I will be your master and Gina's. Of course, Gina will need to appear to be under your control. In private, she will be my plaything"

"If you go too far like last time-"

"Don't worry, I won't do anything to her that would raise suspicions but I wanna make some ground rules here"

"Didn't you make enough already?"

"I can't take any chances. You remember what you told me about a broken toy being no fun. Well, I don't consider either of you to be toys. If I let my guard down for even a second, its all over for me" said Susan, "Gina, you not allowed to make any attempt to rebel against my commands or exploit any loopholes found. You will follow the spirit of my commands"

Marcie thought this was completely unnecessary as Susan already had her give Gina those commands.

Susan must have been paranoid.

"As for both of you, either of you are allowed to tell anybody about this curse, through any manner of communication. If anybody does find out, make up an excuse that does not involve me. You are also not to harm anyone in any way unless I tell you to"

"Can I say something?" said Marcie.

"Sure"

"When I put Gina under my control it would only be for a year. Won't you offer the same kindness?"

"Gina bullied you for one year. She bullied me for five years and I can't tell the difference between the two of you. And besides, if I ever released either of you, you'd seek **** on me"

Great, so now Marcie and Gina were under the control of someone clearly unstable.

"And finally, both of you are to stay in love with me" said Susan, "had to close that loophole. Also, don't bother looking into this curse in the library. I couldn't find anything about it"
