The Golden Age (A new Emperor)

In 180AD, The Roman Empire had become the dominate power in the western world. You could attribute this to its powerful military, but it also was led by a succession of powerful and bright Emperors. They were known as the five good Emperors and three of them left great legacies behind. Trajan conquests rivaled those of Caesar and Augustus, Hadrian had built marvelous structures, and Marcus Aurelius was a philosopher as well as an Emperor.

But like all good things come to an end. After the **** of Marcus, Rome fell into the hands of his son Commodus. His reign is seen as the beginning of the end of Rome and its glory, ultimately leading to its slow and agonizing ****.

‘Fuck Commodus.’ You told yourself. ‘I could do so much better.’

And this is where you decide to put yourself into the Roman world. You remove Commodus from existence. Instead, Marcus adopts you and makes you heir to the Empire.

Now with that settled, you need to improve yourself physically and mentally. You start by making yourself strong and agile. You make yourself a great warrior. Next, you give yourself the knowledge of the time period. You learn every language that existed during this time and the geography of land.

Now is the time to turn the greatest empire in Europe, into the greatest empire of the world.
