It occurred to you that in order for this to go smoothly, you and Keiko needed to get along. This priestess had been plucked from her world after all of this rigorous training and yet, the fiery passion of a warrior was clearly burning in her eyes; she was readier than ever to put her plan into action. Compared to that, you were dead weight. She deserved something from you that could help... but you were such a weakling as a god, there was so little for you to offer. You apologized to her, then thanked her for her service.

Her eyes widened for just a moment. It was very rare, throughout all dimensions, for a god to thank their priestess for anything... after all, the relationship was inherently the other way around. She clearly didn't know what to say, so she just cleared her throat, closed her eyes, and took the gratitude awkwardly. "Of course, Katappashikara-dono. If anything, I'm lucky I was paired with such a useless god as yourself. If you were more powerful, then surely, you wouldn't be willing to relinquish that power," she spoke. Her words were annoying, but you got the sense that somewhere under that thick layer of tsundere, Keiko was thanking you for being on the same page with her and being the one god in a million who'd listen to her strange request without balking at it.

Feeling that the bond between the two of you had strengthened, you and Keiko approached the stage of Kami Kurabe.
