Tamara - Third Company

From their recently attacked base, there are three large roads they can access in order to get to the tower. Tamara decides to take the right route. This is the route her superiors in high command said would have the highest success rate, so she happily volunteered to take this one.

Tamara has always preferred having a good overview of the battle. For this reason she placed herself in a tank at the far back of the column. In front of her are four APC’s, then two Humvee’s, then another four ACP’s, the last two tanks and at the very front the last four Humvee’s. Her adviser, Naomi ‘Fire’ Curzi, gets stationed as tank commander at the front. In case there’s an attack, she can serve as second in command and provide a swift counterassault.

For troop composition she chose to focus on long range. Half of her troops are armed with **** rifles and hand grenades. Only 30 have been equipped with shotguns. She herself, as well as another 40 of the women under her, are carrying sniper rifles. And 20 are carrying LMG's and 10 have got flamethrowers. She would have preferred not to take the latter, but they were the only ones left. Thank god Jocelyn had already taken all of the troops with grenade launchers. They would only cause collateral damage to the buildings. Once this is over and they’ve taken the city back, high command won’t look kindly on those that helped damage it in the process. But if she can take it back without causing extra damage, she may get a promotion. Major would be such a nice prefix to her name. Oh, and each of her troops had to carry a pistol aside from their main weapon. Standard procedure.

After shoving the troops with flamethrowers and shotguns into the APC’s, Tamara continued filling them with troops using **** rifles. Then she had all the snipers and LMG users take place on the tanks and APC’s. After that, her company was assembled and she was ready to go.

The base is 80 miles away from the tower so it took quite a while for them to get to the front line. That’s why her superiors were so spooked by the attack. The towerlings were able to tunnel underneath Rose squad’s defenses and attack straight at the heart of operations. A clear sign they are not in control of this battlefield.
After a 40 mile drive they reach the defensive line that should have kept the towerlings out. If they had noticed the tunnel being dug under them, the base would have been kept safe. The soldiers guarding it cheer them on but are not permitted to join Third company in the ****. If they were to permit towerlings to escape the perimeter during the **** it would become a PR nightmare.

Between 40 and 20 miles from the tower Third company comes across only a few towerlings here and there. They don’t tend to venture out so far, especially because reclamation teams tend to sweep a block and adjust the line closer to the tower. If anything, their attack should divert the towerlings even more to the center of the city and make it easier for reclamation teams to take parts of the city back.The snipers on the vehicles take shots at whatever towerlings they see and take down a good number of them with a minimum of munitions spent. Once they get between 20 and 10 miles the number of towerlings they come across increases. This is where Tamara follows standard procedure and has her column move more slowly. When they approach the 10 mile mark they are deep in tower territory. Towerlings appear in large numbers here so Tamara has her vehicles stop. She has half of the snipers and LMG users get off the vehicles and walk alongside them. Preferably as close to the vehicles as possible. After each mile, she’ll have them switch with those who are still on the vehicles. Cycling her troops this way will prevent them from getting exhausted. Like procedure dictates.

A few miles away, high up on one of the roofs, stands a white haired woman. She is dressed only in a white lab coat and studies Tamara’s column. Next her stands another naked woman. This one is of Latin descent with long black-furred bunny ears on her head. Behind them are another ten nude women, each with pink-furred bunny ears.

The woman in the lab-coat ponders and says, “This is going to be interesting.”
