Talk to Emily

"Hey, Emily?" you call out to your lover.

"Yes?" she asks as she looks up from the book she is reading. It's a medical textbook titled: "Scurvy, and How to Avoid It!"

A part of you wants to talk about her "I love you" comment from earlier, but with Claire around it's probably not the best of times to bring that up.

"I was just wondering some things about you." you shrug your shoulders: "But if you'd rather read, I won't bug ya."

"No, no, ask away." she smiles.

The truth is that despite her saying that she loves you, you actually don't know a whole lot about her. You know a lot about her as a person. You know she is kindhearted, good-natured, and at times a bit eccentric and scatterbrained. However, you don't know a lot about her life. What are her hobbies, how's her family, where is she from? Those kinds of things. Hell, you don't even know her last name. Before you can tackle the question about love in any capacity, it’d probably be easier if you at least have a baseline for some of these things.
