Sweet Sweet Loot

I get on the bus home, getting my bag out of my inventory and fishing around in it for some food. I’m hungry, which is unusual. Then again, I don’t usually exercise. I want to wait until I get home before I check out any of the loot I got. I pass the time by staring out the window with my headphones in. I also observe everybody on the bus, with no interesting results. My character sheet at least looks a little more interesting now. Very useful to know, although unfortunately I can’t play like Skyrim and eat 60 cabbages to regenerate a ton of my health. I can only eat so much after all, and given my skinny frame and small stomach, I really can’t eat much right now.

It would be very useful to have a healer if I plan to go into situations like this often. Or a way to regenerate health quicker. Scaling my strength to help with that problem is tempting, given that my health regen is calculated from strength, but even that wouldn’t do much, because the HP regen per point of strength is so low. Assuming there’s an efficiency upgrade at 25 for all stats, that might alleviate the problem slightly. Still not great though.

I get home at about 5:45PM. I unlock my door, walk inside and shut it behind me. I turn on the light and walk to my room, dumping my bag. Excitedly, I start to look at the loot I got from those chickens.

For the first thing, I didn’t notice before, but the amount of money in my inventory has gone up. I’m now $150 richer than I was. That’s pretty great! $150 for an hour or two of training. Better than my job, that’s for sure. At this rate, I might be able to quit my job and just farm low level monsters for the money I need to pay rent. That’d be pretty cool.

Very handy, especially if I plan to go farm those chickens again, which I definitely do. I place them next to my old shoes, which they will now replace. I turn my attention to the next item.

Very handy to help me with women. It would be amazing if these powers will help me get a girlfriend. I put the ring in my inventory for the moment. For the last item, they look to be a small stack of feathers.

I have a stack of 8 of them. I decide to try using craft with them. Nothing happens. I get an idea, and take off my jacket, laying it on my bed and placing the feathers on top of it. I use craft on them.

I click the yes button. The upgraded battle jacket doesn’t look much different, save for the fact that it now has the eight feathers woven into the inside part of the jacket, in a symmetrical pattern. I observe it to see if anything’s changed about it.

Well now at least I have a little bit of armour. Good stuff. I put aside my battle jacket, strip off the rest of my clothes and change into my pajamas. I go to the bathroom, wash my hands and use augment body on my dick once again. I now have a 6.1 inch cock. It’s getting there.

I’m very much happy with the results of today and the usage of my powers. I’ve already gotten slightly smarter, stronger, more durable and more wise. Slightly being the key modifier of course, but over time, it’ll be a lot more than slightly. I nod in satisfaction, at my handiwork, pulling up my pajama pants and admiring my upgraded equipment for a moment.

I make myself some dinner and watch youtube for a few hours. I use augment body on myself every time my mana bar tops out. I want to make sure to have enough left over to defend myself if anything goes sideways. It’s not like I’m really expecting that to happen, but it’s better safe than sorry. I use it on both my arms, gaining +1 strength for each, both my legs, gaining +1 agility for each, and both my tits, making them a little bigger.

I jerk off twice, before lying down to sleep. I close my eyes and smile widely to myself, enjoying the sound of the music playing and reflecting over my day. My life has gotten insanely awesome, thanks to these powers. The possibilities are near endless. I drift off to sleep, happy about what has happened during the day, and excited about the future and what could happen.

I slowly open my eyes, blinking a couple times. I check the time on my phone. It’s almost exactly 6 hours after I remember going to sleep. The funny thing is, I don’t feel tired at all, beyond the slight drowsiness from waking up. I feel energetic and ready to start the day. This is awesome!

One of my constant struggles has been always being tired, no matter what I changed about my sleep schedule. I didn’t notice it yesterday because I was too focused on my new powers, but I wasn’t tired at all then either. It seems like my Gamer powers have fixed that particular issue.

Well I know what I’m going to be trying to do today. No guarantee that I’ll have the confidence to, but the quest didn’t say that the interaction had to go well, just that I have to talk to either one of them. I toss up for a moment on which of them to try to talk to, then decide to just talk to whoever I happen to see first. I toss the covers aside and get up, getting ready for my day quickly. I notice my mana bar is once again topped off, so I use augment body on my head to see what happens.

Augment body lvl 2: now costs 45mp. The spell now affects targeted body part by 6%, applying retroactively. Cap is now 3 spells.

Hell yes! It also used the new, cheaper cost, meaning I have an extra 5mp. I pull down my pants immediately and once again use the skill on my dick. At 6 and a half inches, I’m now a somewhat decent size. The augment body use on my head also gave me +1 in Charisma and Wisdom.

Patch: Too easy!

You can’t have a skill to give you free stats, that’s just broken. Work for it like everybody else, dance monkey, dance!

Well that’s a shame, but the patch note isn’t wrong. It is a little broken to be able to give myself essentially free stats. Still, I’m very happy about what I’ve gotten so far. I use the skill on my boobs again, making them slightly bigger. I’m in a good mood as I get ready for class, jerking off before I leave to clear my head a little.

I let my mana regenerate on the bus ride, only using it to continue levelling observe while I wait. I’m a little impatient to get to school and try to complete the quest, but I’m also unsure of how to approach either one of the girls I saw yesterday. The quest doesn’t specify that it has to be a nice conversation, yet I still want to try have one anyway. I have a severe lack of women in my life, and people in general.

The bus arrives and I step off, looking around and breathing deeply, in and out, before heading inside. My first class is the class that I’m extremely interested in, and is a primary class for my degree: Philosophy. It helps me broaden my mind into other areas of thinking. I observe a few people in the class, and get another popup.

That took a lot longer to get to level 4 than level 2 and 3. Still, I’m happy to finally get there. Looking around, I can indeed now see how people are feeling, with 3 emotions listed to describe their overall mood. Useful to help judge social interactions, but not much beyond that. The cost reduction is good too, it’s an extremely low costing skill, but it would still be awesome if it was free.

The rest of the class goes by without a hitch, and I regenerate enough mana to be at 109MP by the time Philosophy class is over. As I walk through the hallway to my next class, I get a popup that freezes me in my tracks.
