Super family.

The world looks straight out of a comic book. Super-powered heroes battle against villains, aliens, evil organizations and monsters. Of course if it was a comic book in our world it would be R rated, those villains don't shy away from sex themed plots or scandalous outfits and even some heroes end up with powers that are on the kinky side.

United under the League of guardians, heroes have a small chip injected into them to warn them that their help is needed in the vicinity without having to rely on phones or spotlights. In some cases it can even be used to automatically activate their powers to protect them or innocent bystanders.

While a few heroes are transformed due to accidents it's rarer these days, most heroes being the children and grandchildren from the original heroes from the 40's. They grow up normally, their identity often hidden and gain their powers once they reach maturity at 18.

K-T is on of these and so is his twin sister Emily, their parents are both pretty high ranked heroes. One super parent is enough for an 80% chance to have powers and with two there's less than 1% chance not to get powers. But no matter the fact that their parents are superheroes there is no way of knowing what kind of powers would manifest in them.

Powers can be cool and powerful, turning someone in a literal Superman, others range from rather useless to embarrassing or are coupled with sets of weaknesses, restrictions or side effects.

Of course, knowing K-T it can't exactly go well.
