Somewhere to Hide

Dashing about and avoiding a flurry of darts, your eyes search desperately for somewhere to hide.

You spot a large rock by a clearing as you **** your way through the jungle paths, cursing to yourself at the ridiculous plight in which you find yourself.

The rock could be a decent place to hide... or maybe behind a tree?

"Such a spirited hunt! I am blessed that you survived long enough to find your way into my Safari Room... soon you'll be a fine addition to my collection, my dear beastie..."

Eugh. So gross!

No way you're going to be part of some gross fetish collection! Gotta hide before it's too late...

There's no way the tree is going to provide you with enough cover. You make your way to the rock and curl up into a ball behind it. You make yourself as small as possible and pray that the awful monster doesn't notice you. You focus hard on your breathing, trying your best not to make a sound as the horrid creature slinks about nearby

As you finally hear him pass, you let out a sigh of relief.

No sooner has the air left your lips you hear sound.

thwip!!

A syringe from the creatures weapon clatters against the rock behind you with a clinking sound, and you hear cursing sounds in the distance. it appears his weapon has jammed!

Your eyes quickly scan the surroundings... there's a path up ahead!

You quickly make a break for it as the creature roars in your mind's ear to come back. The air around you grows sweltering and muggy as you push your way through bush after bush. You feel the ballet flats you're clad in start to stick to the ground slightly, making a horrid schlorping sound with every step.

Mud?

As you look around it appears you've escaped your pursuer... but find yourself surrounded by some sort of alien swamp!
