Smells like... Pork!

Weak, naked, divested, and, honestly, dumber than a sack of rocks, the ex-noble ex-knight was having a wonderful time. Not really sure where Miss Fortune had pointed her, she'd trusted her now larger gut in directing her. And, to its rumbling credit, that gut had done well. Hilda was now spinning in circles, slack jawed and drooling, at a bustling food court of breads and cakes and meats.

Tables lit by lanterns hanging on lines of iron string, a bonfire in the center, there was flickering lights brighter than anywhere else she'd been! With a live band of goblins jazzing up the place with tunes spirited and lyrics blasphemous, the newly minted moron couldn't help but innocently sing along. And surrounded by more than a hundred happy people eating and drinking merrily to the loosening of their pocketbooks, the impressionable girl couldn't help but be infected by the carefree attitude of all the other patrons.

"Hey! Lady!"

"Huh?" Jolted awake by the crass and high pitched whine, Hilda scratched her empty head and turned all around in search of where the sound had come from. "Uh... Like, who said that?"

"Down here, tubby!"

Feeling a tug on her muffintop, Hilda's eyes dropped downwards. Lighting up with glee at the green skinned salesman, she giggled, "Haha! You're short."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I heard it all before, tubby. Now are you gonna buy somethin' or what?" The shouter tapped his foot and crossed his arms.

Lost completely, Hilda could only managed a labored, "Huh?"

That made the goblin shake his head and pinch his tiny little nose. "The line's backed up, fatass! Make up yer mind!"

Looking back to the impatient faces behind, then back to the tiny man, then up to the tent overhead, her sluggish brain processed. Stalling and stuttering like a dwarvish minecart, it took her a good five seconds before it all clicked into place.

"Oh!" She cried, finally, smiling wide. "You want me to buy food!" Giggling and giggling and giggling away, she pointed at the picture of a porkchop and said, "That one, please!"

Opening his mouth to cuss her out, then shutting it because that would make this whole mess take longer, the goblin groaned and held out his hand. "That'll be five copper."

Smile dropping like her jaw, Hilda's hands clapped her cheeks and she blurted out, "I don't have money!"

Snarling, the goblin jabbed his thumb the other way. "Then get outta line!"

And Hilda, red in the face and tearing up, felt her self-esteem deflate as she glumly slumped away while all the customers behind her started pointing and howling with laughter.

Feeling stupid, feeling like that tarot reader might've lied about something, Hilda could only slump onto a table in shame as her stomach growled loud. The band was still playing and the people all around her were happy as could be, but Hilda's mood was as dead as her pocketbook.

Though, as she sniffled, something shiny in the dirt caught her eye...!
