Check out the yachts, go on a cruise or . .?

Small ships

Thinking I saw people by some of the smaller boats, I make my way down to that section of the docks and start inspecting for signs of activity. The first few don't seem occupied, and find myself amused by the ship names. Boats are emblazed with such as such christening as 'lucky scamp', 'big catch', 'The Sea's Pearl', and 'Hooter's ride'. After about a dozen boats, and some empty spots along the peer, the tables are turned swiftly, as I find myself being the one who is noticed.

I'm caught somewhat off guard when someone starts speaking from behind me, "Well hello! Not every day a fine specimen of the female species is walking the docks dressed like that! Rarer still for her to be caught staring at my boat! I'm about to set sail, but if you wanted to join us, I suppose I'd have room for one more." I feel his arm gently wrap itself around my waist, and his hand pressing onto my waist. I could move away but decided I rather liked the company, and I had become distracted by his offer too intently to give it much notice.

"Us?" I asked, wondering about how many people he was talking about, as I have only seen him so far. His boat, the "Sea Trolip", was smaller than some, but it was still large enough to include a single room inside the center of its hull. The deck itself had a half-dozen seats, and a small windshield was in front of them. A space to walk in front of the windshield was there was there also. At the stern of the craft was the access to the single room below deck, which was accessible by a hatch.

As I asked, two young figures appeared from inside the boat. "Meet my two sons, Harry and Joe". Harry has just turned 21 and is currently attending a local college in robotics, and Joe here is 18 and about to graduate from high school. He's Thinking about becoming a chemist someday.

With a pause and a squeeze, he turns back to me and says "Why don't you introduce yourself then, lassy?", he asks as he pitched my side. I manage not to squeak too loudly as a smile formed on my lips. I hope I'm not blushing, I think to myself, before I clear my throat and try to speak with a confidence I was not exactly feeling at the moment, "I'm Bridget. I just graduated from college, and after some time looking, I managed to get a job here. I just moved in and wanted to explore while I have some free time".

"Well then, I'm sure my boys here would love your company. I'm sure one of them would make a fine catch for you. What do you say, a ride and a chance at a date on the side?

Do I accept his offer? I've been single for a while, so maybe . . .
