Shiryoku Zai's T2 attack!

You couldn't really imagine what Shiryoku Zai was talking about... after all, with just her glasses, she'd be slower making orders going forward, right? That meant fewer bombs, fewer turrets, all that kind of stuff. If she was going to try to fight Keiko with just a wooden staff, she was going to be in trouble...

Oh right! Magic. Bungen had mentioned magic a moment ago.

As if on cue, Shiryoku began to flourish her staff. "Seeds of the forest, take root! Ensnare our foe!" she commanded. This really was seeming like magic now. But... what seeds...? Were more drones going to bring in more seeds? Then you remembered... all of the drones that had already arrived, with their shells and husks now littering the battlefield, were themselves seeds. They began to burrow under the earth and, in no time flat, tendrils of wood had sprouted up, dotting themselves across the entire battlefield. Those tendrils moved flexibly, like the tentacles of some great beast. Keiko understood what was happening and began to use her sword's blades to cut apart some of the tendrils... but it was slow work. Compared to severing the rotating stems of those seeds, these were several hundreds' times as thick, and they were still sprouting up everywhere! If only Keiko was one of those priestesses who could fly, but at this rate, she'd be caught for sure, right?!

"It's best if you surrender now. The BUNGEN tattoo is actually good good for 2% off all store goods, so, rest assured there is some good news," Shiryoku pitched in. She didn't have a great bedside manner if this was intended as a means of comfort, nor did she have the enthusiasm for a sales pitch, so it just came off as a half-hearted joke...
