She cuts and runs!

Worrying about what might come out, Hilda panics and decides to run into the woods and hide. Unfortunately the pants around her ankles are preventing her from doing just that. She desperately pulls at the soaked garment, but it's no good. It just wont budge.

She frantically looks around for someplace to hide as the noise grows louder. She can't find one, but she does spot a sharp-looking rock. With time running out, she grabs the stone and gets to work cutting off the expensive silk pants.

The trees are rustling even more now, so Hilda tries to work faster. In her haste, she nicks the waistband on her panties, further damaging them, but she succeeds in destroying the pants.

Now free of her silken bindings, the nearly-nude-knight leaps to her feet and starts booking it for the tree line opposite the perceived danger, not bothering to look back and see what was actually emerging from the woods or to use her free hand to secure her one remaining (if damaged) garment.
