Sarah Comes home

Sarah isn't even all the way into work when the text message arrives, she may be conflicted about what she is doing with Jake but she doesn't hesitate to quickly turn the car around and race home. She bursts into the apartment and runs to the bathroom door finding it locked "Ethen are you okay honey, you need to let me in". She feels her phone buzz though and looks down to a text message that just says "I am freaking out in here, I really need you but please help me I look different now". Sarah pauses imagining the worst as she says "That's okay Ethen just open the door and I can help you".

Ethen gathers together all the strength she has and opens the door slowly, for a moment Sarah doesn't understand what is happening. Her mind won't compute that she is seeing herself standing naked in a hot steamy bathroom with big red eyes and a look of terror. Slowly almost automatically she steps into the room and closes the door and says "Who are you, what happened to Ethen". Ethen just cries more and holds up Sarah's fertility pillbox. Taking it in her hand Sarah looks down at the open blister pack and it hits her "Oh god Ethen I'm so sorry". She quickly pulls Ethen into a deep hug as Ethen just falls apart and starts crying as they slowly sink to the floor. For a while, they just sit there Sarah holding Ethen saying comforting things.

"Are you fucking Jake" Ethen finally manages to get out. It is like a shot of ice water into Sarah's veins as she stutters out "Wh... Wh... Why". Ethen just cries harder and says "Because he came in and fucked me this morning thinking I was you".
